The kits only seem to work in ML on the other teams so if im Chelsea the kitserver dosnt work for me but works for my opponent.

I have the Windows Xp Pro... and tha game crashes in all modes (regular and compatibility), when I try to run PES4.exe (DEMO) the system show this message:

PES4 found a problem and need to be closed. (not it exacly, my windows is in portuguese brazilian, ;) )

mmm i've loads of problems with kitserver and win xp pro,
can anyone who have it working post a link with his pes4.exe patched with kitersver plz? just to try if it can solve my problem

just tried my instructions for compatiblity mode, and they are not really correct. sorry. :(

It looks like, you should never use compatibility settings for kitserver's setup.exe. (When i changed that, and removed/installed kitserver, i got the error message that you're talking about.) So, don't use compatibility mode for setup.exe - always run it in regular winxp mode.

Now, with the PES4.exe, it actually works ok for me, regardless if set compatibility settings, or not: winxp regular mode, win95, win98/Me, win2000, even win4.0nt mode works ok...

Can you send me your PES4.exe ([email protected]) so i can check whether setup.exe worked correctly or not?

Thanks for help, but the problem was the pes4.exe. It was corrupted, I just changed it for another (pes4.exe) and installed the kit server again. Now, it's working fine!

This is just the way ML works for some dumb reason so what we're looking for is an overide to the ML saved file which I don't think we can ask Juce to waste his time with. The fault lies with the way Konami have taken a snapshot of the option settings and not allow them to be updated.

I have your latest option file, so what do I have to do to allow real kits on the master league?

I haven't started one yet so thats not a problem.

No all English teams have the default kits not sure exactly why though.

In case anyone wants to know, theres a few things in the option file that need changing. Im not expecting wolf to as he said its his last file until January, they are small things that most people wouldn't care about. They are easy enough for anyone to do with editpes4option file.

Hughes should still be at Charlton, as its Bryan not Stephen who left IRL. He is on a free just transfer with the option file.

West Brom have a load of players that have left, eg Kinsella and Lee Hughes who is in jail IRL and quite a few other minor players.
