KitServer for PES4 PC/WE8I PC

hi juce, just for reporting a bug....new version works perfectly with pes4 (even with puma and umbro ball mdl that seem to have problems if used in 0_text.afs)..no problem for kits and balls, but in we8i the game crashes at the loading screen after you click "start the game", but only when using ball selector:using 3rd kits and leaving the default balls all is ok.
anyone has the same problem?

does this happen for every ball, or only particular models (like Nike Aerow)?

Here some... requests/advices for your work to be perfect...

Improve KdBManager (i loved it)... explaining each model, and maybe a little RGB converter :)
Maybe even a param_dat importer :)

Choose number style for each kit... and why not... referees kits?

Just some wishes... Congrats for one more KS version. :)

about KDBManager, it would be great too if it allow us to register balls on attrib. choosing a in-game name, the tex and the mdl for each one.


and a bug:

i played with that funky finale on match mode and it worked perfectly, but on ML the ball is weird, adidas logo on every yellow side and the stars blurred...

one easy request. Can you asign another key for 'previous ball'? it's a little annoying when you have more than twenty balls, and in selection, you pass the one you wanted. then you've got to cycle them all. great job, juce. (sorry for my english)

about your suggestions:

not sure what you mean by RGB converter... i thought the KDB manager kinda has it already. You can either press the colored button and pick color visually, or you can enter it manually. This way it's easy to see which color corresponds to which hex number.

Choosing number style for each kit has to be implemented in kitserver first, and then it would make sense to add that to KDB manager. So, it's possible, but not immediately.

referee kits - i guess, it's more of a "luxury" option, in my view. Perhaps i can see if this can be done after the "extra" number styles are implemented.

param_dat importer - not sure if it makes sense to mix param_dat data and KDB attrib.cfg files. KDB manager is really just supposed to be a helper for kitserver - not a replacement for in-game editor, or options file editor, or Waterloo tool :)

good suggestion about KDB manager. Will try to implement.

About the bug: yes, i missed this one. Looks like when the ball is used first time, at looks ok, but next time the texture becomes messed up. This only happens for balls with BMP textures though; the ones with BIN textures seem ok.

Will fix. thanks for pointing it out.

people have asked about adboard server before, and the answer is: yes, it is possible. I'd like to make a couple of other changes first - like adding extra number styles and extra faces. After that, i'll look into adboards.

Version 4.3.1 is released.

Contains these 2 new things:
- fixed the BMP-texture bug. (when a ball with BMP-texture would only render correctly in the first match, and get messed up in next one)
- new hot-key "previous ball". (as suggested by NeticH)
Now it is possible to cycle balls in both directions: forward and backward.

it was not your problem at last juce, i changed the 0_text.afs with another one and all goes smooth...i think the old one was corrupted when i regenerated it last time, now is ok...i'm going to try this new version.....finally we can cycle throught balls, i already have something as 40 balls in my "balls" directory!!!:D :D :D

ps. can you update also kdb manager with balls? it's very useful!
