But i did do some research for this and figured out that it's not possible to insert new face files as new items in the AFS, because the game seems to use file ordinals instead of file names. In other words, when it loads a file from AFS, it does it like this: "give me item #6", instead of "give me item, named ball08tex.bin". So, if a new item gets inserted into the AFS - even if the AFS structure remains correct - the game eventually crashes as the #X no longer corresponds to the same file as before. It seems that the only way you can add new files to the AFS is by adding them at the end - so that file ordinals of all original files stay the same. That unfortunately doesn't help with extra faces. So, looks like for the face server, the face BINs will live outside of AFS - just like kits for kitserver.

Anyway, I ask because Australia's kits (or the numbers and letters, anyway) on their yellow kit(s) are backwards and I don't know how easily I can edit this.

ok ; iam confused; its not posible to add extra faces ; but it is posible to have a face server?; iam getting it wrong or right?.

i think the face server is still possible, but in the same way as kitserver is: face BINs will be stored as external files. (I was thinking initially that if i can insert extra faces into AFS, then a cross-platform solution would be possible: extra faces would've worked on ps2,xbox as well as pc. Alas, that didn't work... So we're back to a PC-only solution).

well thats good news for me cause i have the pc version hehe; keep us updated my friend.

do you think you could do a stadium server?
all the essential models could be kept in a separate stadium folder and we could switch between them, I would have thought it was pretty simple for you as it's a single update in the same way as a kit?

font/number types:
done some work here, but it's not finished yet. Will be the new feature in next kitserver release.
face server:
some work is done here as well, but this is still very far from working system.
bootserver:
haven't done anything on this... mainly because other requests seemed more important to me, and took all my spare time. For the "is it possible to do?" question, the answer is - yes, it's possible, but i don't know when (if) i'm gonna start working on it. This will have to wait until other features are implemented.
stadium server:
haven't thought about it. Jim, if you can give me more detail on how stadiums are organized (models, texture, etc.), that'd be great. If it is indeed simple enough, then it could be next in the queue after the extra font/number types feature.

I'd think it would be the easiest for the reasons I mentioned.
Basically each stadium has 44 files (11 each for day fine\day rain\night fine\night rain) and the _base.bin files contain the graphics, so you'd just need a config to point to a sub folder containing the stadium bins, so we could then have Inter and AC San Siros, Lazio\Roma versions of the Olympico etc. Or perhaps have a stadium base and point to new base.bin, to save space (a bit like the balls?) but that doesn't bother me that much as I have 300+ Gb :D

This great news that it can be done. I think it is very important because there are so many different boots needed if u play with many teams and nine is not nearly enough more like 25 wud be better lol.
So how wud it work wud u have 2 assign each boot file to individual players?

oh it's great but the new font server by juce would be the greatest.a question.with the new font server i can import many fonts and so i can play with EPL fonts,milan fonts,real madrid fonts,barcellona fonts and many other?
