I didn't blame him, that was just a coincidence. It was also a coincidence that all the coaches thought that he was the best striker in the team and Saviola always ended being the best.Originally posted by Vagegast
I love how all the Barca fans are blaming their failure during the first half of the season on Kluivert. Very creative
Yes, a coincidence indeed, because the real reason things suddenly went well was the appearence of Edgar Davids. He was the missing link for Barcelona. Kluivert didn't play well after he went back from the injury. But it is difficult to get your form right away from an injury.Originally posted by Dream Team

All coincidences.

We have enough egos at the club without another one. When things go wrong (which they do alot at Newcastle) he'll sulk and become very lazy. He's extremely over-rated, not worth a 1/4 of his £40000 a week.
Bad move Sir Bobby
Davids didn't score too much goals. I doubt that he would have stop failing all those easy goals because davids was on the field.. his problems were that he got 10 chances and he scored 1, the most difficult one.Originally posted by Han

I think Kluivert do well in the premiership. When playing at Barcelona he usually played well against English sides.....

Newcastle United's recent history was built on egos, lad.
Tino Asprilla, David Ginola, Laurent Robert, et al. We need egos at this club.
Why? Because when times get tough, they can bail you out of the brown stuff.

awesome move by newcastle, i think sir bobby will get the most from kluivert, he's in his prime right now
i wish him all the best
i've always been a fan of kluivert's but as a real madrid fan, i've had a hard time cheering for him, now that he is at newcastle, i think i will get his jersey!
Ahh, change the subject. Fact is that Kluivert has been the better striker of the two except for this year, which has been an off-year for Kluivert. You're the same person who claimed that Barca had no choice to sign Larsson because he was holding a gun against their head I don't even need to take you serious.Originally posted by Dream Team

That's what I supposed that you thought when you said that Barça didn't want Larsson, when he had signed already lol. I said: of course we didn't want him, we signed him because he forced us, he had a gun!. You are an idiot if you think that I said it seriously...Originally posted by Vagegast

I said Rijkaard and Ten Cate never wanted Larsson, not Barca. WTF are you talking about?Originally posted by Dream Team

That's your opinion. If you think he sucks as a striker, thats your loss. He has scored 110 goals for Barca. He has scored 40 goals in 79 games for the Dutch NT.We want a good striker since 3 years ago. The last season was only the confirmation that Kluivert is not striker. We wanted him to leave the last summer but no team wanted him and Rijkaard still trusted him.
Larsson is Barça player just because Rijkaard wanted him.. anyway, Rijkaard and Ten Cate=Barça... all the players who sign for BARÇA, they sign because RIJKAARD and TEN CATE want them.Originally posted by Vagegast
