TFC win 2-1 in LA, 4-3 on aggregate to advance to the semifinals. Anyone outside of Toronto and possibly LA may not care, but I felt the need to share my giddiness.

1st leg played out to a 2-2 draw in Toronto in front of 48,000+ at the Rogers Centre, was absolutely insane. This is a team that has never made the MLS playoffs since its inception, mind you.

2nd leg in LA, the reigning MLS champions, boasting the likes of Becks, Keane and Donovan, plays out to a 2-1 TFC win in front of a romping 7000 fans. What a joke. You ****s deserve to get booted, that atmosphere was worse than a Championship side's reserve team match. :sKIp_E:

I actually watched the first game. Wasn't a bad game but it actually looked like a playoff type game.

Monterrey will defend their title, and have another chance to participate in the club's World Cup (or whatever the hell it's called). Last year they had a ridiculous performance being sent home in the first round.

Bet on Monterrey to win this tourney, fur reelz.

Going to see Santos Laguna vs TFC tomorrow. Hopefully, the Mexicans will be in fully voice there to make a for a great atmosphere. Without Frings, TFC has no chance anyway.

Ya we're pretty ****ed. The game was originally scheduled for a Tuesday so I was gonna get tickets but then it got switched to Wednesday and I couldn't go cuz of work. Mother ****.

Tsss, damn. Well, you couldn't really expect a positive result when the MLS just kicked off their season and the Mexican tournament is far along in theirs. Discrepancies you know.

Monterrey won the CONCACAF Champ's Cup. Victor Manuel Vucetich (their coach) has reached 12 finals, winning all 12 and rightfully earning him the nickname "Rey Midas". This man was offered to coach our NT, but declined for personal reasons (time away from his family being one of them). Now I have no doubt Monterrey will reach the Clubs WC much better prepared than last year.

I honestly see them reaching the final, reasons: 1. their excellent coach 2. one of the best 25-man squads in all of Latin America not just Mexico 3. their fans (the most loyal and best supporting fan in Mexico who no doubt will show up in Japan) 4. because the people involved with the team have made it a clear objective and a compromise to leave a better impression this time around.

"Vuce" is a fvcken legend. + his daughter is pretty fine
