LA LIGA | Round 3: Valencia vs. Deportivo La Coruna

Nuno

Starting XI
It's half time. The score is 0-1 and Baraja already earned a straight red.

But the reason I'm starting this thread is Pablo Aimar. That little punk bitch just threw a hissy fit and spit in a Deportivo player's face for no reason. The ref didn't see it, but let's discuss what kind of punishment he should get. If Samuel got 3 games for accidentally spitting on someone, what should this little clown looking Carlos*ass get.

He insulted the guy in Spanish...with a typical "Concha de madre" insult of an Argentinian.
The lineman saw him and the ref was telling his 4th assistant to talk during the half time brake.

It wasn't the face, it was his shirt :D. Anyway, Aimar got hit badly but that can't be an excuse, he will get suspended for sure, 3 matchdays minimum. On behalf of the match, Miguel played really good, one of Valencia's best players. He defended good and had a nice run up front just like the one Jorge Andrade did against Newcastle in the Intertoto Cup (I may be wrong though).

Yeah, my boy Miguel is the only guy I feel bad for out there. He's having a great game.

He's still out there playing... :nape:

Aimar crashed into Depor's player and bitched about it...lol the guy was not even facing him..it was un-intentionally.

Miguel is really impresive.. :jambo:

good game, very fun to watch (Y). Miguel scored a great goal, and the ref was on fire: 8 yellow cards, 2 reds and 1 penalty....

What a stupid mistake from Andrade.. that penalty changed the match.

Can somebody fill me in on this Miguel? I've never heard of him. What team did he play for and what did he do there?

Sergio with the late goal :rockman: He's my only fantasy player that played today.

Miguel is from Benfica. They won the league last season while he was there. He also plays for the Portugal NT.

Also Dream Team im pretty sure every team wants Vicente.

Long story, basically has to do with the whole contract fiasco he had with Benfica. In the end Miguel was exposed for a money hungry c*nt with no loyalty/respect to the club that made him the player he is. Scolari hasn't called him to the NT once since that.

You are wrong. He will be back, as soon as he starts playing regularily in Valência. He wasn´t called before because he was still trying to solve his problems with Benfica, find a club and regain his fitness. He´s our best RB, he will go to the WC, if he goes back to his past usual Benfica form in Valência.
