lag for all martians

I am fortunate or unfortunate enough to live in Mars and love Pro Evolution Soccer 5.

I love to play PES5 online but it seems like I can never get above 2 >> for connectivity and their is always lag. Is this just my connection? I have 1,000,000meg download and about 100,000 upload zvdfscssdDSL.

I am trying to figure out if it is something I can easily fix in my firewall or I am just damned because of high ping times to Earthlings.

You want to count yourself lucky you have a connection at all. I have not managed to be able to play pro 5 online at all. It was just the same with pro 4, mind you i then had a wireless connection. I thought now with a 2mb bt connection i would have no problem at all. Can anyone let me know if i need to download any specific software which might enable me to play pro 5 online please. I played links 2001 online a few years back, and i needed to go into the msn lobby before i could get a game, i just wondered if it was something similar for pro 5.

PS: i had lag, then i set the LOD Mixer to default values, so the LAG was gone. Maybe this was only for me, dont know

emule what is that ?, when i attempt to play pro 5 online all i get is "testing network environment". This stays on my screen for what seems like ages, then it just says unable to connect.

If you are behind a router, then you have to open the port 5736 (in the routersettings under Port Forwarding or similar)..

Thanks for your help 11, i seem to have done that allready, but the damn thing is just the same. Somehow i think i am just not ever going to be able to play the game online with other humans.

Try enabling dmz. ANd also enable incoming pings.
