Mendieta isn't the worst... It's the Serie A bug where players like Henry, Mendieta, Kovacevic, "insert EPL star" can't play good for tactical reasons.

Munich could always pick up Stam. They could afford him, and after last seasons signings that were exclusively offensive in nature, they have realised they can't defend for ****.

They brought Demichles from River, but they need lots of defenders as most of the squad is ageing.

Then again, after the dismal ECL run, they said no big signings would occur until the financial position next season was revealed.

Bayern isn't going to spend much money on a 31 year old player, at least that's what I think. If they want to take a good, cheap defender, I think they should buy Aleksander Knavs from Kaiserslautern, he's just great - when he's not injured. Unfortunately, he's damn fragile.

Ajax wont sell Ibrahimovic. He wants to stay and Koeman wants him. Roma said they want to buy him but i read they wanted to pay 8 mill. They will have to go deep for Ajax to even think about it........20 mill i think.

Chivu said if Ajax do well in the CL the Ajax fans may "be in for a suprise" but as of late a lot of teams want to pay big money for him.

As for Mido nothing is clear yet. His agent said he has gotten offers from a big EPL team(maybe Liverpool,Chealsea,or Leeds,because he clearly stated that Arsenal and Man U arent it), and also that Juventus and Inter,and Lazio had shown some interest...but Lazio cant pay for him. Also he said he was "very very close" to signing with Barcalona at the end of the season but wants to stay at Ajax if Koeman will start on a new page next season.

man utd will just get the 30 million pounds out of their back pocket just like they did for Rio and buy Lopez. .. who is over rated any ways .... the only way Stam would ever come back to united is if United win the double CL/ League this year and fergie retires thus stam may consider it
