In Argentina, actually Boca Juniors is the most recent champion, they had won the "Torneo Apertura 2005/2006) achieved last year in December.

Now theres gonna be a new champion, the Torneo Clausura one.

Here in SA we play 2 tournaments in one year, so many tournaments are still being played, even when we have possible champions, it's early to predict one now.

For sure, we will have that full list in a few days before the start of the World Cup :jap:

The last Champion from Mexico was Toluca FC (http://www.deportivotolucafc.com/), from 2005.

The current tournament is only on the elimination rounds.
I see you thought it was Pachuca, but in Mexico the league leader is not the Champion, instead the "liguilla" winner (elimination round of the best 8 of the season) is the Champion.

They should be but since they were relegated they gave up their spot to Morelia. But just add Toluca as champions of Mexico again. (H)

Well, sometimes the best 8. Dorodos should be in there shouldn't they?

Yes, but this is Mexico.

Dorados (8th), has been relegated to Second Division/Primera A. :fool:

It wouldn't be right if a (now officially) second division team, would win the Championship.
Then again... ...The Concacaf Champion finished 13th in this tournament... :p

and also
Hong Kong : Happy Valley

We only have 8 teams in the First Division Football League here...

And Happy Valley is the team who invited Inter to play a match in Hong Kong in late May. But there is no more confirmed news about this game...

How often do Happy Valley fill that bohemoth of a stadium they play in? (H)

Also, do they get an AFC Cup spot? It'd be a shame to play in that beautiful stadium with no asian football on offer.

I dont watch local football but I think they played in the AFC Cup and got knocked out.

I dont actually know if they have any stadium/pitch. You know, Hong Kong is a very small city and the games are held in only a few stadiums. Maybe only some of the teams have their own stadiums.

The Hong Kong Stadium is our "national stadium". It's only for big games like when Real Madrid, Liverpool, AC Milan, Newcastle, Brazil NT or Manchester United come. It is sometimes used for concerts or some big functions.

Hong Kong is once the British colony and now we get more and more EPL games boardcast on TV, so there are very few people who still watch local games. :(

But Hong Kong club Kitchee won Newcastle and AC Milan in recent years.
