Leagues in FIFA2000

I think that they just put all the leagues of the teams that enter the Champs League, UEFA Cup and Cup Winners Cup. They should also include all european leagues f there are teams from a league in europe that don't get in any of the comps above. They should also include American league, argentinian and australian league.

Uefa Ratings don't mean leagues as you know.They mean national teams.So it doesn't mean that Turkish League is worse than Russian League.

concerning the uefa ranking (mentioned by deer) there are other countries which leagues have to be included.
for me for example I would like to play the Swiss league although the teams there don't play at a great level
Unfortunately there's only a little market for EA in Switzerland. That's perhaps the reason, why they include some leagues and leave out other ones. An other reason could be that they have a few korean programmers...

It's not a bad idea to make add-on cd's with additional leagues. It's even a good idea for EA. They could make extra money.

But I think there's an endless discussion which leagues have to be included and which not. It's EA's decision.

Thinking back to the old days (amiga) I was playing a soccer game (I forgot the name) you could play almost in every league on earth. That's what EA could and should do.

well, whatever you all turkish fans say, ratings tell the truth.
Turkish league ain't bad, but Russian league is better.
Or let me put it this way,
Russian league deserves to be it FIFA 2000 MORE than Turkish, Swedish, Israeli leagues.
If you don't believe, look on UEFA ratings ( God!, how many times me and DeeR, Evil and Goody try to say this to ya'l!!!!! )

I think that EASports did a good job of putting the MOST POPULAR leagues in the game from fan feed back. Obviously, EASports touched quite a few nerves by not including one or two league. However, there's always next year or the upcoming Russian league or Czech league Patch. I've been waiting forever for EASports to put in Portugal, MLS, and no offense to the country, but for the first few years of FIFA, EASports kept putting in the Malaysian League & I didn't know there even was a league from there! The game sounds fine so far, yet I still haven't played it. Every year as EASports improves its game, a little something left out riles up some other people...sheesh...

What is the ranking based on?
For example a country has 4 clubs in Eurocups, they had 20 points(2 points for a victory, 1 point for draw) in eurocups(no difference between UEFA cup, Champions league and Cup winners cup earlier) . Then 20/4=5 the country had 5 points this year, and in UEFA ratings countries has ponits points from last 5 years, for example before this eurocups points wac from 94/95, 95/96, 96/97, 97/98, 98/99 seasons. And points and qualification rounds are 1(normal 2 points/2) for a victory and 0.5(normal 1 point/2) for a draw.

Cyprus is good you know and our goalie played like a bastard why are you saying cyprus is bad they beat spain 3-2 in cyprus just like they beat us but in israel we beat them 3-0.
