edit: I just saw it. I felt genuine sadness from a human being to another human being. She was nowhere near ready to perform on stage in front of a world audience and the fact that they dubbed the whole thing was terrible. MTV are pretty much the devil for doing this.

Imagine how hot that performance would of been 2,3,4 years ago but now you just can't look at her the same and her body looked pretty much gross for what she was doing out there.

Yeah that's exactly it, if Britney was into the performance and her body was in shape it would have been hot. Instead there were about a thousand problems. She was wasted every night before the performance for like 6 nights, and the rehersal sucked, her scheduled performance with magic from Chriss Angel Mind Freak got cancelled, etc. I feel sorry for her a little, but she HAD to know her body was not up for that performance. I heard that once she got off stage she started screaming "I looked like a pig!!!" but at the same time the other rumor was Britney vetoed the MTV wardrobe because it "wasn't sexy enough," so who's fault is it really? It was just a massive train wreck and I don't know if dishing out blame here matters at all, no one was up to the challenge. Especially Britney who was skinnier than she's been in the past year+, but was way fatter than she's ever been for a real performance.

SO as I was going to youtube to watch the Britney video so I can reply to ShiftyPowers post. I first watched this...



AFter watching it, I spent a couple minutes trying to find it. Then I gave up.. I don't know what the purpose is on the video, but I envy the brazilians for having such quality shows :(

If you can't find a video of Brit from the VMA's you are bad at the internets. Check PerezHilton.com and US Weekly, plus the obvious youtube and google. It's really not hard, in the US it's been on every station continuously.

LOLzer....your love for her was so intense and potent that it even managed to extend over to that little turd, eh? Man, yer even a bigger queer than myself.....and that's saying a lot.



It was torturous and awkward to watch, no doubt! Not only was she out of shape, but she also looked dementedly drugged. Sadly, though, she's still probably more hitable than 95% of America.

Imo, that performance put the final nail in her music career's coffin....certainly the touring aspect of it.
