Walcott, how much has actually played for Arsenal? Not much if you ask me.

It's a deserved call-up for Lennon though as he's really the revelation of this season.

He has played for the reserve team, he also played in the championship with southhamton. I like the pick, he is good enought to succed at the World cup.

BTW if he scores in England first game will he be the youngest ever to score in the world cup? I know pele did at 17, walcott is just 17.

heck..i hate to say this..but sometimes..i do feel he is overrated..no dont misunderstand me..

but it is extremely unfair to drop someone who is proven esp. in the premierlague (i believe that you know the level of quality in the premiership)

i say this becoz...look they have Bent who is scoring 18 goals in the Premiership for a team who is not as like Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal...& most of his goal is not from penalties.

meanwhile, this kid is only 17, havent play even for the u-21 england (rite?) .. he is worth of 12 millions & hasnt play any part in Arsenal's first team..
but from what i read in some of the articles over the internet..he is damn good in championship (yup..championship...) .. the next england's gem after rooney..& bla bla bla
hopefully english media dont try to influence the people by giving a big hype like freddy adu in america

I can certainly see Lennon doing some 'Serious' Dammage to tired Defences late on in the game , he has blistering speed and isn't afraid to have a pop at goal either , fully deserved call up in my opinion.
