Senior Squad
Barbados Updates
Finally got to do these updates. I had scouted the team out in anticipation of facing them during the World Cup Qualifiers, but didn't get a chance to edit the squad until now.
I should mention that I include several english players. There is a trend in the Caribbean that teams can't get their european based players except for the biggest games. For instance, Grenada can rarely call in Jason Roberts but he did appear against the US in '04 for the world cup qualifiers.
So it makes it difficult to set their roster... do you include these foreign players who only play a couple of times per cycle? or do you exclude them blaming their few appearances?
I'm a bigger fan of putting them in the game and showing the full potential of each national side. As a result though, Grenada, Netherlands Antilles, Barbados tend to get better results all cycle long than they do in many of their local tournaments (caribbean cup for example). But I think it adds Parody and excitement and I believe that it isn't technically unrealistic because these island nations would play quite well if they were able to field all of these players every game.
Back to Barbados though, I did include Marlon Harewood who is eligible for the Barbados National Team but has never appeared. If you decide to remove him Jon Nurse would be the guy to take his place.
Capitol of Barbados is Bridgetown.
