Reading too far into the scoreline? Did any of you watch the match? If you did you would know 4-1 was not a fair scoreline. Chelsea's last 3 goals were very scrappy. Maybe not Duff's so much but im sure he didn't mean to take such a heavy touch then scrambled it forutunately in. Joe Cole's goal wasn't even meant to be a pass and Geremi's goal was only available to him cos of Robben's scuff.
Either way Chelsea deserved to win, but 4-1 is pure flattery.
Duff's was a tap in created by Drogba's brilliance, Didi's intentions on Cole's goal were debatable at best (he saw him flashing unmarked for the far post, and yet chose a wild shot in the same direction anyway?) and Geremi's goal was a pure leave by Robben, who, if you look, checked his position as Drogba was steaming in on the left.
The only reason it became such flattery for Chelsea is that the fourt goal was scored quickly while your boys were still wetting their whistle with sideline water, and were caught with their pants down. You had a CB and Leftback that got eaten alive, and thats what flattered Chelsea.

Joe Cole was offside on the 3rd goal - the rule clearly states that there has to be at least 2 players between the attacker and the goal line for the goal to be legal. There was one.
Sorry but I cant let that go: he was not offside. I have seen the replay about 5 times now, and they stopped the thing to the moment of contact with the ball: Your lost boy from sunday Hyypia gave about half a player length keeping him onside, and if you watch the clip, youll see him totally turned around when the pass was played. The guy barely even knew what was going on during that play, let alone where to play Cole to leave him off.

First game you may of seen, but he has played plenty of good matches.
Exactly. People are so conditioned to calling him crap that it becomes the status quo to just assume he is, nevermind his performances

Liverpool just hoof long balls up to him and he has no one to knock it on to and hold the ball for.
You and untouchable have now said this: yet a week ago, Chelsea were the merchants of the most boring football known to man (not according to you, just the general consensus). I just want to make note of the fact that that theorey, that Chelsea are ruining England with a boring style, has been turned over this weekend
