Hyypia is our most consistent goal scorer, and the only in form player now... ah well, if we manage to win all the next 3 CL matches, we MIGHT be in with a chance to scrape through the group stage... It is possible, though... home match against Porto and Besiktas, away to Marseille....

I'd still prefer it if we concentrated on the league IF I knew we'd do decently at it. Right now, I think it's better to be involved in as many competitions as we can. Which is quite sad.

Sami's been tosh for a while now though, age is catching up with him. We're missing Agger big time.

If we win the last three we're almost certainly through by the way, technically we could win two, draw one and maybe still go through then. It's all gonna come down to whether we can beat Marseille in France because, really, we don't deserve to go through if we can't beat Besiktas and, dare i say it, Porto at home.

It's not too bad at the minute, but we need three very good performances in a row now, obviously. Still, i'm not looking forward to this weekend.

Agger is needed...Hyypia isn;'t what he was two years ago. It was just after the win in 2005 that people were saying that the #1 priority was winning the EPL. This team has to be built for ONE FOR SURE and maybe another but not FOR BOTH. Rafa would prefer the CL (and it's more realistic) but I think most would prefer the EPL. Personally, with a team like Bayern in the UEFA Cup, I wouldn't have a problem competing there.....Boro got to the final just a year and a half ago. Better chance to focus on the league and, ON PAPER, weaker opposition would mean more chance to rest some burnt out players...a certain captain comes to mind.

Disappointing draw today, only really tried to win the game in the last 20mins, which isn't the right attitude if you want to be competing for the title imo. Kewell looked useless when he came on, Kuyt can't finish for love nor money as usual and the main man the Blackburn defence had trouble with, Crouch, only got the last 20mins.
2 points dropped yet again.
