Well, i'm glad he's staying. I just dont want that drama to take part in every god damn season now. Although it's kinda funny, Gerrard teases Chelsea to the fullest once again, before giving them a slap in the face (once again!). (H)

slap in the face? im sure they dont hate him that much after he won them the league cup... sorry :$

do you reckon we'll ever find out the real reason he wanted to leave AND then wanted to stay?? parrys story about him realising how much the club means to him is the biggest heap of pish ever.

you're a sad excuse for a human being do you know that? and you call yourself a liverpool fan :nape: Hate how people turn on the players like that. one moment they're praising Gerrard's name aloud, the next they're burning a shirt with his name on it. really pathetic. its wierd how quickly "fans" can forget all the great things he has given to this club. he was a great inspiration to the players on the road to Istanbul. I admit, the way he acted was a bit ****ty, but come on. You've got a lot of growing up to do man, a lot of growing up :nape:

I agree with you on that but it isn't much different than one moment saying "how could I ever leave after a night like this", then handing in a transfer request just to say you'll stay for life and love the club the morning after...
The guy was just angry with Gerrard... and now he'll have to buy another shirt!

Onto more pressing matters, ahem, we've signed Bolo Zenden :ewan: A fantastic addition to our squad, welcome to Anfield Bolo!

Cant wait for Crouch to sign, he'd be a surprise inclusion to our transfer proceedings in more ways than one, and his arrival would be good for stevie g....someone for the latter to look up to and all that...

I would definately want to see owen return to anfield. he's been a favorite player of mine ever since I started supporting this team, and felt kinda sad when he left, but you have to respect his decision on that one, he wanted to prove himself in another country, wanted to prove he was good enough, which he is. it really helped his carreer to go to Real Madrid. The subscribtion to a first team place he had here was getting in the way of his progress and it seemed like he was stalling, leaving to go to Real sure did help him, having to prove himself week after week in order to win a starting place. I say, Bring Mikey home now :D

From a Chelsea fan (since 1996),

I'm shocked at how far Liverpool have come in such a short time under Benitez. He seems like a shrewd manager and an excellent tactician. Sure he seems to sign lots (and lots!) of Spaniards, but he must know La Liga better than other leagues and as such can pick the gems.

Top 3 for Liverpool in the EPL next season, but probably third behind Chelsea and Arsenal. Season after they will challenge all the usuals for the title for sure.

I'm also very glad that you guys kept Stevie G, good for you, not a real problem for us, great for a competative EPL!

Congrats to the Liverpool faithful for finding such a good manager and good luck for the new season. Also hope you get into the CL proper! Of any of the teams in the qualifying rounds, you guys deserve it the most! :)

owen? no thanks. he was good for about 15-20 goals a season but if he converted just 10% of what he missed he'd probably be good for about 90 goals.... a game :(

On one hand, I deffo remember his infuriating misses (and the way he left us) but at least they dont half make me cringe like Milan's. :(

Echo's reporting Figo deal on ice as they want 2m quid for him. Cheeky gits. We'll still have him.

Figo Garcia Gerrard Hamann Alonso Zenden Kewell (Gonzalez sub 20min)

We're sorted!

Well, he ****ed up in that game, but it's the second time he's on the merge of quitting us, and then on 45 minutes of the 2nd half he decides to stay, and curiously, Chelsea is always ready to take him and they got denied for the 2nd time.
