Who was guy that dribbled down the right during the second goal? Kuyt picked it up and passed it to Babel, but who was the one with the ball before that?

Mascherano, beautiful! i really like that player, the only DM that reminds me of Gattuso, he's got fire! But it's always nice to see these players make a run up the field!

Congrats to Liverpool, i kinda always go with the underdog when Milan's not playing, and after five losses it's good to see you guys win, and without Torres and Gerrard, beautiful. Riera was impressive today!
But kudos to United on the first goal, Berba's pass and Tevez's goal where outstanding!

was out at a club in brisbane last night whilst the game was on. met a STUNNER who was from liverpool. we celebrated the win alllllll night, was amazing. needless to say we didnt even know the result at the time

so anyway i was quite stoked when i found out the morning after that we won

from watching the game, was so good to see mascherano set up the winning goal after what happened last time

Mascherano was immense. He really makes the difference and can nullify opponents threats. Things are looking good at the moment, but I don't look at the performances against Man U as the big test. Let's face it, we've outplayed them for a few years now (albeit still losing), it's those games away at places like Fulham we need to make sure we win.

Riera looks to be much improved since his spell at City. Really looks like he settled quickly into the Liverpool team. At City I first thought he was a 30 year old from the way he played, the move to Espanyol obviously did wonders for him.
cheers

Ok, that's enough......Mascherano did NOT set up the goal. His run was stopped by 2 defenders, who were NOT able to control the ball and a deflection, off of one of them, spat the ball out to Dirk Kuyt. He got past one United player(with a really soft touch, I might add given their-United defenders and Kuyt-close proximity to Van Der Sar) and crossed(on the ground) the ball over to Babel. Mascherano's "move" had been successfully stopped by the United defenders......he did NOT create the goal....if Kuyt wasn't Johnny-On-The-Spot, Ferdinand would have launched it upfield.

that new Spaniard of yours was pretty damn impressive, man. Where the fucck did you guys unearth him from?

Benitez knows the Spanish League inside out.

But Mascherano did play a major role in that goal, it was his positive run that started things, credit to him, I didn't know he had that side to his game.
Surely, it would be a HUGE blow if you lost someone like him to injury or suspension.

We're still struggling to score goals.

Remembering back to last season, Torres didn't really start scoring consistently until February. He had a rather average first half of the season and he seems to be duplicating that this year. Sure the injury, this year, will no doubt have played a part but he's got to get going......NOW! I just can't see anyone else managing to pick up the slack....let's face it, like a lot of poeple predicted, at the end of the day, Robbie Keane has been nearly useless.

Damn, if I say "another scrappy match" after every time we have one, I'll double my post count by the end of the season.... :(
