I was there at the game (why i wasnt active here yesterday) and we absolutely battered them but we didnt make the most of our chances, City really only had the two shots thats about it.

Rather late, but Andy Carroll had his best game in an LFC jersey against Spuds. Suarez and Bale missed the best chances of the game. Overall, a disappointing result for Liverpool.

We've got 2 cup games coming up. One in the FA Cup this Sunday against Brighton, and then of course the Carling Cup Final at Wembley against Cardiff.

On paper these games seem like they are already won, but we've been inconsistent against teams below us for a few seasons now, so I hope the players respect their oppositions and do a proper job.

these are the only trophies we have a chance at this season, and I want them both. It's been far too long since the last trophy, back in the early Rafa days. We need a trophy to hopefully boost morale
