3-1 win for Liverpool. The second half was very nervous. Suarez his second goal in the 89th minute. Until then, Sunderland could have easily snatched a point from us.

Our defense is lacking that cutting edge.

Here's the paradoxical thing with this guy:
If Liverpool winds 3 games in a row, he wants to stay. It Liverpool loses 3 straight games, he hates England and wants to leave asap.

It is so hard to accept someone that you know is going to waffle like that. Fernando Torres would never have behaved like this guy.:S

^^^^If you're alluding to my genuine disdain towards Luis Suarez, then I think I've made my views clear on the matter prior to Aug 31st.

My opinion will not change, in regards to that issue.

The best part about this season so far is that we've actually played some terrible football, and yet have managed to grind out results to go second in the league. Always a good sign that.

I just want to add to what I said earlier:

Liverpool FC are #1 in England.

In the Women's league.

They train 5 times a week. Compare that to the powerhouse Arsenal women's team which trains 3 times a week....they finished in 3rd place, 5 points behind. Liverpool was in last place at the end of last season....this season, they won the women's league title. Oh and Everton? They used to be the main challenger to Arsenal but they finished 15 points back.

Chelsea's women's team? You must be out of your damn mind....they weren't even in the top 5.

I feel really really bad that Chelsea are underperforming in the womans league. Honestly, that's all I really care about, so I might aswell renounce my Chelsea-fanship right now.

So, a 3-1 win for us over Crystal Palace, at Anfield.

We had a 3-0 lead at half-time and did nothing after that. We could have easily helped to improve our goal differential. It was a missed opportunity.

1 goal for Sturridge, Suarez and Gerrard (PK).

Horrendous second half performance, AGAIN. Becoming a worry, that pattern. Gerrard looking really dire this season too. Henderson at DM worked wonders though - hope he replaces Lucas at DM on a permanent basis, once we have a fully fit Johnson and Coutinho at RWB and AMC respectively.

At least you are winning games and getting good results, and you're on top of the table. And it will stay that way if Arsenal screw up later on today, which is quite unlikely though.
