Bit early, but anyway, Depor are bouncing back at Spain and i expect a very though match for us. I'm hoping for a 2-1 win, Baros and Xabi scoring.

I can see that being the score but I'm not gonna put money on Pool winning

2 shots on target to 1 shot on target. Seems like Liverpool has a bit trouble in finding the goal, considering theyve had 6x the total shots of Deportivo :).

It was a pretty dismal display from Liverpool. It was like we were trying to walk the ball into the back of the net. I was screaming at the TV hoping that someone would actually take a shot, but alas nothing :(

It is only Rafa's 14th game in charge, so we should start to see improvement, and to be fair I think we are. The only part of the game missing was the finishing. Not unexpected considering we lost MO.

My one question is this:

A year ago, would we have played Deportivo so comprehensively off the park as we did tonight?

Have we in the last 5 years played a top quality team off the park like tonight?

All our big victories, especially Europe, have been played on the counter attack. Roma, Barca, Porto. Also most in the Premiership too, Arsenal in the FA cup, Manu in the Worthy Cup. Chelsea for the last three years.

Not meaning to take good results away from Ged, but there are significant signs of improvement, and that is what the first 6 months under Rafa are about. The group looks tight, but I like the way we're progressing under Rafa and we can still make to to the next stage. Probably need seven points from the remaining three games, though.
