it depends do you set up it in controls or not
if you like that way of lobbing the keeper, set it up
I personally use L1+shot

btw. there is "beginner controls" etc. in training when it's shown how to lob etc.

L1 + shoot is a lob
shoot + R1 is a chip (good for one on ones in the box)
double tap shoot if you set in the button configuration

*Personally I like to use the chip nowadays. I used to lob in the past but not anymore cause the chip is much better IMO. The lob is good when u're outside the box*
