I borrowed Logitech Dual Action Gamepad from my friend to check it out. I works really cool with Fifa. But i have to use left stick for moving. Did anybody set moving controlls on D-Pad and how?

You will have more control moving your player and passing with the left stick compared to using the directional pad. Since the stick is analog, you have 360° of motion compared to only 8 directions with the d-pad.

Could you tell me what your top left trigger (button #5) does? In the control configuration screen it indicates that the button should activate "player runs" but nothing happens when I press it during the game or practice. The config screen also indicates that the #4 button which activates the long thru balls and keeper charge should also control some type of header but that's obviously wrong since the shoot and pass buttons control the different headers.

All of my other buttons perform the indicated functions so I'm a little confused on how to use button #5 and the player runs.

what? why you want use the dpad?, when fifa 2004 support 24 directions!!!!

d-pad = 8 directions, then you miss 16 directions
analog = 360 degrees, 36 dir. max, its cool, you feel the difference. like in the real life

p.d. my english suck.

button #5 activates player run. Watch carefuly i.e. in practice. In FIFA 2004 there is no baloons which shows player run. Now one of your teammates running traying to uncover himself and he get his hands in air traying to draw your attention and tell you he is uncovered. You will see that. Try in practice (no baloons as in 2003 and 2002 , now player running with one of his hand/arm in air).
Logitech is OK gamepad. It's not so expensive. I found it in few stores downtown Belgrade. It costs 25 euros which is abut 15GBP. It's not so expensive, but i still think that Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Power is better stick. It has force feedback, hard buttons and it is mor ergonomical then Logitech
