is it posible to score a long range shot???
i couldnt do it in practice mode!!!
and how can u curve shots?
the cpu does it but my shots never get curved.

long range shots are deffinately possible, and they automatically curve.

I've done it many times with totti. Good players curve the ball better. Just make sure you aim with the analogue stick to the side of the goal and dont put too much power. Dont do it too often, unlike fifa 04 not all of them will go in.

yeah juventus1 is exactly right. The good think about euro is that they rarely go in. Stop running and let your attacker slow then then shoot but dont put too much power. Good attackers are likelier to score.

yeah seeing gibbsy's reply i just wanted to add that the new way (making it hard to score) really adds happyness and whatever have you to the goal!

yeah, long range goals actually mean something now. And you get really pissed when you beat the keeper from distance and it just clangs off the post.

but in practice mode the goalie is 8 yrds out and my shots never get curled so its imposible to beat him?
r u sure theres no combination for curling?

there is no combo for curling. Even for me its much harder to beat the keeper from long shots in practice mode. Dont worry.

Whle playing the game take unexpected long shots occassionally, remember dont keep booting them from 25 yards out because you wont always beat the keeper. Mix up your strategies.

Is there any of the Gameplay makers who know how to fix the Problem with the longs shot, until yet no one knows with parameter must be change that the shots get oftener on the Goal, it is not the Problem that they score, the Problem ist that they always miss the Goal.

The only time I managed to score a long distance goal was in semi-finals. I was playing with England and we were up against Turkey. The game ended in a draw and we went straight to OT. The goal play started wit Lampard and ended when I gave Owen a perfect trough ball (crushing the Turkish defence) just as he was about to score, out comes a frantic Rustu kicking the ball straight in front of Scholes feet who was almost halfway down the pitch. Quickly reacting to Rustu's error and seeing how he was gonna be well outta place I shoot the ball --the power meter more than halfway full-- aiming straight down the middle of the pitch. Wit luck and skill I managed to score a beautifull game winning goal from almost the middle of the pitch, just a few feet awaw from the kick-off circle. A truly magnificent sight. Too bad I couldnt save the replay.(XBOX verison)

i think the long shots are good in this game. Better than fifa anyways.
