dunno if these specific kind of Centipedes are only found in the US

but this lil bugger attacked me today, i jumped straight up. we got lots of em in my house, and they always attack when ur half asleep and barefooted!



but ive had enough! im waging war on them! been reading up and got lots of ticks up my sleeve, caught one not to long ago, and im holding it hostage (H)

and those thigns are FAST!! when u see one, u dont have enough time to react, bastards are smart, they know when and where to strike!

Yeah, I've had some run-ins with buggers like that up here in Canada, they usually come out when the weather is really humid. The ones I find are a little more transparent than that one.

Of course, they cant really hurt you. But as for your war, may I suggest a diabolical method of torture that I myself have used in the past. When you spot one of them, grab a can of Air Freshener, and let 'er rip. The centipede will get really disoriented and start running in circles, lose its ability to cling to walls, etc. Fun stuff I tells ya.

Well i have seen regular Centipedes in my house like twice now but my Mom likes to keep the house very clean so we dont get much bugs which is nice so i dont like bugs, kinda scares me:( It gives me the gossebumbs for some unkown reason.

Lots of people are freaked out by bugs... its cause their so damn small and fast so people freak out that they might get inside you and lay eggs and multiply... LOL.

Its funny like when an elephant gets freaked out when it sees a little mouse.

those things do look scary mate. :eek:

what i would do is move out because they are hard to get rid off, they just reproduce. i had the same situation with the mice in my old house, so we had to move because there was just so many of them, i mean wherever you go you see them f u c k e r s running around by the wall.

yeah well thier food supply is basically any other insects, Spiders ect ect, i dont have time to fumigate, too busy lately :(

and my gf wont do it, shes more terrified of em then me :|

well i think they are all over the place from what im reading (H) its just my house is oddly humid, so they love it here

what the hell is that thing called exactly?!? It doesn't really look like a true centipede, not like the one's I'm familiar with anyhow. It looks more like some kind of silverfish on steroids, or a bug called a "firebrat"...that thing IS pretty creepy, I gotta admit..

I have a thing with bugs too, they give me the "crawlies", especially spiders.
