I don't know if they were looking for them, but Ade, Carvalho, Xabi Alonso, and Lass all could have been sent off for double-yellows.Ilaje;3029082 said:Adebayor clearly looking for the red card to strengthen Mourinho's argument.
Madrid would have played the second leg differently with a 0-0 in the first. If anything, this match proved that Mourinho was too cynical in the first leg.poet11;3029108 said:So Mourinho's plan was good enough to progress to the finals. Whenever Real got an opportunity to strike the whistle blew for NO foul....funny. Mascherano tackle on Arbeloa a yellow card challenge NO foul. If someone can claim that Ade was sent to get a red to strengthen Mourinho's claim then I can claim the ref didn't send anyone off to weaken Mourinho's claim and overshadow the whole situation. Yes Carvalho had to be sent off so should have been.
Anyways hats off Iniesta. If i have seen anyone as influential as Zidane in midfield until now it has to be him. Congrats. I really really wish Busquets, Mascherano, Pedro and Alves get their act together. And i don't mean ACT as they take it usually.
Another thing is Madrid should learn from todays match that you just can't buy the best to win. No team has the divine right to win trophies. Kaka is past it. If big money people come in sell him.
Barcelona are the best team in the world, but Madrid are (arguably) the second-best. They should have had more faith in their own ability to pressure Barcelona.poet11;3029197 said:I don't know if theres a conspiracy or not but technology must come in. Its great debating about controversial stuff but not all the time. One mistake costs a lot.
About his tactics yes you are correct and everyone wanted to see a spectacle but the problem is you are facing the best team in the world. They will perform wherever they play.
About being sore losers well almost everyone is otherwise it so meaning playing in a competition. By the way Mou needs to chill out and some Barca players should behave. I don't really have a bad impression about tactical choices as long as they work. Man Utd did it against us at Old Trafford. Yes Madrid are no Man Utd but the thing is u need players to make that happen. Even watching Barca with hatred u can't really help admiring moments of genius.

He's a prick, always has been, always will. Sad but true.
