I lost about 2stone in 6 weeks for being Diabetic (type 1) without knowing.

But then i put ON about 2 1/2 stone in about 4 weeks once i was diagnosed (H)(Y)

Of course, it all depends on your personality, but I'd say the easiest way to lose weight is:

Eat real food, such as fruits, vegetables, rice, nuts, seeds, beans, and all that stuff.

Avoid red meat, or meat in general. Try to stick to fresh seafood, and, when you do eat meat, eat no more than a palm full per meal.

Snack, when you are at all hunger, but snack on something healthy -- fruit is your best bet. You shouldn't try to not eat, because then, when you do, your body will adjust, and not be used to getting food when it needs it, so it stores unnecessary energy (fat), just in case.

Avoid baking, all baking. Humans can't properly digest sugar, first of all, and all baked goods have white flour, dairy, butter, adn a ****load of other unnecessary calories and unhealthy things.

Avoid heavy pastas, thick bread, and other 'carb' heavy things. I'm not talking about the carb craze, I'm talking about things that are easy to eat a lot of, but will make you fat. Pretty much, people that count calories do have it right; you can eat fat, you can eat carbs, but what it comes down to is calories in, calories out. Carbs and Fats are generally very high calorie for what you are getting.

I won't go into my dairy speel, but eliminate dair, for your general health's sake -- including your bones.

Use those guidelines, eat about as much as you do now, and I'm certain you will lose weight.

edit: and, don't have the juice for breakfast or snacks. Drink tea or water, instead. Get your juice from actual fruit, trust me.

Also, if you are big into junk food and sweet things, now, you will find your body and your tastes quickly adjusting to this sort of diet. You never would have imagined how good "healthy" (real) food could taste.

If you're overweight try do some HIIT cardio and stay away from some junk food. If you're playing football then possibly join a gym, eat lots of protein and try and build up some muscle.

This should increase strength, endurance and stamina. :)

you know what i hate, when people take the piss out of people for being thin but once being fat, that really pisses me off, cos you say to yourself; "that doesnt bother me, but someone else who may be still fat may be really offended by that kind of 'humour' " just pisses me off when people do that

when it comes to being overweight, nothing makes you skinny like a life threatening illness that puts you into the hospotal for weeks where they have to feed you through one of those tube things. But I wouln't try that just yet.
