I searched and didn't find a thread like this, so I figured I should make one for we who watches the series, Lost.

I belive there are a lot of people here who watches it? And I have to say, I'm totally hooked with this show, and every episode is more annoying then the last.
What are your theroies on the whole thing?

I belive that they are not in the real world, that's for sure. I think we are inside someone's imagination. Mayeb someone is dreaming the whole thing. The whispers we here can be someone talking to the persone who's dreaming (perhaps someone is in a coma). And I belive it's Carlos.
In the 1st episode on season one, you can see Carlos on the beach there, looking in both directions and he sees nothing. After he walks 3m out on the beach suddenly there are peaces of the plain here and there and a lot of people. I wonder if it's a hint that the thing isn't real.

Or perhaps they are all dead and trapped between our world and the land of the dead, hence the title Lost. I don't know.
And the thing with the numbers? I don't got a theory on that yet. I'm about to watch episode #7 from the 2nd season to night.

Please, share your theories.

No, to be honest, I haven't watched a single minute of an episode. I think I'm the only person in Norway who hasn't been watching Lost. Everybody is watching it, it seems. :(

That show has me hooked. But I really have no clue on what is going on there. Great show and every episode has me on the edge of my seat, except last weeks episode.

Loadsa people i know are obsessed with this. It started when i was on holiday so i never really saw the beginning of it to get into it, but i dont suppose its ever appealed for me to check it

im a self-confessed addict, i watched the first two on C4 AGEEES ago, and now im totally hooked.

Locke is amazingly cool.... if anyone's seen the first series.

I havent been watching this, I'm told I should but I was on holiday over the first two episodes and didnt really fancy catching up.

On the subject of TV dramas on the the UK at the moment though, has anyone else been watching Rome? Total rubbish, of course, just an excuse for some violence and tits, and I have already spotted several historical inaccuracies, but I like it nonetheless. Good, enjoyable show to watch, and Kenneth Cranham is excellent as always.

Lost was good, until the twists in the end just ruined it. I swear the producers let some hobo write some of the storylines. Where the hell did the other people on the island come from? WHat's that little black kid got? How the hell did the other people get an engine-powered boat in the middle of nowhere? What the hell is that shaft? And finally, what the hell kind of polar bear is so big that it causes an earthquake when it moves? All these stupid things just pissed me off.

Yeah, I know. I haven't watched anything of it either, and I hear people talk about it everywhere, little frustrating when I know nothing about it:(. But I have planned to get it on DVD though.

I think someone should put spoilers in the title because some would not have watched Season 2 yet. I think it's a great show but they have to answer some questions or lose some viewers. It's still better than Desperate Housewives anyway.

but that is what makes the show good!! If there where nothing of these 'what the F was that?' it wouldn't be good.

Sure, the polar bear is a little weird, but there has to be some explanation behind it.
By Shaft, I guess you mean hatch, and I think it's great. Opening the hatch didn't really give any explanations, which is awesome.

I just finished watching episode 7 from season two now. Killer!
You learn more about the others in that episode.
since probably not many has seen e7, I won't go into it with further details yet.

I'm totally hocked on this show. I have no idea what's going on. Missing most of the first season is probably the explanation.

Well i didn't really like that show, well i don't like this kinda storyline. I mean it is intense but still not of my type. and guess what today while watching Prison Break i saw the first commercial of 24, Jan 2006. :rockman: :rockman: :rockman:

Prison Break is a filler for 24. As soon as 24 starts (mid-January), Prison Break is going to get postponed until after 24 finishes. That's FOX for you. I mean, they cancelled shows like John Doe, Firefly and Arrested Development. Meanwhile Simpsons is severely lacking and the resurrected Family Guy is trash. At times, the executives at FOX can be utter and complete idiots.

Joe, you need to watch more then three episodes. You need to get settled with the show and understand how things work. THEN, you will realise how great it is.
