lotr: battle for middle earth a good buy

RTW Graphics kill LOTR everything !. So many things you can do. Best ever game i've played. You need at least 512 RAM and the latest Graphic cards, Or this game will eat your Comp !

I've got RTW.. but.. It is really hard knowing what units to put first, and how to coordinate them! Also.. they get tired so easily, and as a result, I need to wait for ages for units to not be tired!

Jullii pretty damn hard Most of the barbarian cities dont get any income. Kill Germania off to Britannia and Gauls !

Try footmen infront of archers and javeliners, with cavalry on the flanks (that is, if you're battling it out on an open field)....if the enemy comes to you, let the archers rip (flaming ammo if you want ruin their morale, but regular ammo is faster, so you might kill more men). Then charge their front with footmen (and some cavalry if you like), with the rest of the cavalry coming in from behind to completely encircle and slaughter them.

I've used that tactic on open field battles as the Egyptians, and it's worked on medium difficulty even agains the Romans (who are better equipped and armored than my troops).

i thought that lotr battle for middle earth would be a great game...
and it was for the first two weeks.

now i just think i wasted 50 dollars.

The battles are so repetitive, and sometimes the bugs get so bad,
like sometimes your base gets blown up for no reason at all.

i haven't played online, i dont know if thats any better.
i honestly think i would have been better off getting rome total war.

some parts of that game are pretty cool though.

Greeks murder everyone, got about 10 million units of the armoured hopelites they just kill and kill, they fight alright without the long spears to.

Just pelt them with archers, and get atleast one cavalry unti behind, and BAM! They're done for.

But they're Armoured with Big Fat Gold Shields don't do much, prolly javelins will work better. Just tried being the germans its impossible to win with them thier economy is S***house im on debt around -2000 and i'm in 265 BC.
