I have just checked that the vertices of the neck didn't affect the eyelids animation but the Z coordinates of the eyes did. When I increased the neck length of Torres, the position of the eyes also moved upward so the bug happened. I tried to move the head upward except the eyes, then no eyelids bug happened. I think the eyelids animation only works properly at certain Z coordinates.:bwtf:

Now I can confirm two situations. First, the eyelids will protrude during animation if the position of the eyes is higher than the original position. Second, the eyelids will cave-in during animation if the position of the eyes is lower than the original position. The seriousness of the bug and the position of the eyes seem to have linear relationship.

Have you tried mixing two different models to see if it also affects the deforming? Like taking the eyes from one model and using it on the head model you want to export?

When you import the head model do you usually import with the bone groups?

They can give you better information regarding how the positioning and movement of specific vertices will deform the model... Blender even has an option to show the bone weights in edit mode :)

I wanted to say the position of eyes of the head model, that means the vertices of eyelids, not the eyeballs, my bad.

I don't have any knowledge of the bone groups. Are they editable? I will explore them some time later. Thanks for the info mate.;-)

If you are not satisfied with this great Torres there are also other 3 or 4 Torres released for fifa 16...

I agree what they said about the model. A new texture is almost finished but I still have to work on the mapping so the blonde parts will look more smooth.;)

It's not the end yet. After Torres, at least I will update Tiago and fix old faces with bug. Maybe I will also create my own version of Giménez and Carrasco if ATM win the Champions League.:shades: Then I will take a break and play my ATM career.:D If there are good team headshots of EURO 2016, you will see me very soon again.

Okay! Sounds cool.

Btw, I did something with your Vietto. If you want, I'll send you the files.

Just share it here, screenshots too! I was struggling to retain the lighting from the photo or not. He was much more similar with that but I decided to maintain a consistent style at the end.

Okay, will do tomorrow. I just converted a F15 model of his and changed the hair to fit.

Sadly, we can't currently take advantage of the bone groups in terms of editing, except by using them as a reference to know what vertices get deformed depending on the animation :/

The only practical use you could currently get out of them would be if you wanted to use Fifa head models to start creating animations, because we can't tamper with the skeletons and the animations for the game

Hey LTH,

I dont normally ask for things at all but I was hoping because you've done such amazing work wit your Lucas Hernandez that you might consider doing his younger brother Theo Hernandez whos also in the game at Atletico?

he also has decent potential and literally looks almost the same as his older brother but with longer hair.

thanks and I hope you do :)
