I think it`s the BETA version. By the way WEWEWE did you hear this "rumor" about PES4 being online for X-BOX. People over PESInsight are already creating usernames when PES4 is released. They believe in some magasines saying that PES4 will be online. You need an XBOX with a pre-mod and I don`t know if chipped XBOX can go live.

I'm pretty sure PC version will as well..
it's heaps easier to make it online for PC...

anywayz...if u turn off the chip in xbox... u can go online BUT u can't load the imported game..
so what's the pt?

no one knows if PES4 will have online capability or not.... coz they haven't released the "official" statements for PES4 yet...

it'd be funny of the japanese have to import PES4 to play online...lol

actually..xbox thing might be true..coz microsoft made lots of development toolls that allow developers to implement Live feature easily.....

if PES4 online will only be available on xbox then I guess I have to buy one..><

Just what you said about the easy implementing of on-line in Xbox makes me think it will be at Xbox only. Maybe Konami uses Xbox to see how things go and follow up on PC in November 2005 for PES 5

I'm sure because the german gaming-mag 'VGA' said it in a preview, which was released about 3 weeks ago.

PES4 will be out for PS2 and for X-BOX aswell. One thing tho, PES4 for X-BOX might have an online play while PS2 version wont.

PES4 for X-BOX will be in PAL which means people from around the world cannot play PES4 x-box live because of the modchip issue. You can play PES4 on X-BOX if the X-BOX is chipped but you won`t be able to go online. Just like WEWE said what`s the point going online when you need to turn on the modchip in order for game to load. Maybe once the game loads you can then switch and turn off the modchip. If you decide to play PES4 X-BOX Live having your modchip on, you will get disconnected + banned from the server you`re connecting to. So WEWE, I really see no reason why you have to buy X-BOX. You wanna play PES4 get it for your PS2.

You are saying,

A . People with PAL-TV's like in Europe can play PES 4 AND play on line,

B. People with NTSC-TV's can only play the game with a chip and thus NOT on-line?

Is that what you said, or can people with PAL not play on-line as well?

I hope this helps:

- PES4 will only be released in Europe (PAL) in mid or late October however, it won`t have an online play. This is for PS2

- PES4 for X-BOX could have an online play, this version aswell will be only released in Europe and will use PAL format.

So if people from USA want to play PES4 (for X-BOX) they will have to modify their X-BOX with a modchip just like we all do with PS2`s to play Winning Eleven.

Now from what I`m hearing it is impossible to play X-BOX LIVE if your X-BOX is chipped. You will be able to play the game but you won`t be able to go online since the servers have firewall that don`t allow people with chipped boxes to play online. People have been banned from Microsoft Servers because of this.
