I've just seen this in the news... I find it pretty hilarious but... isn't it maybe a bit disrespectful for the rivals? What do you think?

what is wrong/funny with that?
if you mean the painted faces and hair, that's a pretty normal thing if you ask me.

Well, here in Spain you can see some players dying their hairs during celebrations, but not during the competition and obviously not painting their faces like clowns during a match

I've seen it happening with more teams....if you think it's a clowny thing to do OK, but I don't see anything wrong with it.

and why would the opponents feel disrespected btw?
it's none of their damn business, they can still play ball and that's what matters.

I watched the game. It was fun to watch since Lyon backed up the colorful hairdos with a 4-0 win. Fred could have easily had 2 more goals.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Wiltord looked cool (H)

Senior Squad
The Lyon players look like stand-ins on the College Gameday set. All we need now is Lee Corso to pull out the mascot head.

if you think this is weird you should have seen Porto in 2004, faces painted and all. Baia looked like a scarecrow.

and what a great year that was.

The Legend
Jérémie Janot (Saint-Étienne keeper) wanted to wear an AC Milan top for his match the week after Milan knocked Lyon out of the CL.

Help?

If anything French teams deserve some disrespect from Lyon, because letting a team win 5 in a row is just shameful for the worldwide image of the league.
