M.Cafu to Man Utd ?

i saw this in the newspaper that next year , cafu is gonna come to Man Utd . is it true that he's gonna come next season or is it just a rumor ?

if yes , then its really great !!!!! Rio , Cafu , Silvestre , Brown , Neville bro's , Brown and O'Shea ....... what a defence we will have !!!

I don`t think so, MU don`t have the habit to buy old players. Cafu is great, but MU still have the Nevilles, plus he only got 2 or 3 playing years left.

Yeah, it would be great. Cafu is an awesome attacking defender. He's very quick too.

It'd be a mixed blessing if he did, Cafu's a great player, but United should be keeping an eye out for younger players. Though I guess having Cafu around would help the youngsters already at United. Personally I think we should go after Phillipe Mexes and Julian Escude again.

oops ! made a mistake ......so its :- Rio , silvestre , neville bro's , brown , o'shea and possibly Cafu ... but now i think they should think seriously about buying a good striker .....

yup it seems there's a gr8 chance for Cafu to play for us. and since we'll get him for free it will be even better for us.

about the striker - Fergie now has to play the 4-4-1-1 system all the time. the team has to get used to it. nothing doing. we'll have to play giggsy and scholsey in variable positions and hope nistelrooy and solskjaer don't get injured at the same time.

i still think if we had got nesta instead of ferdinand it would have been better in terms of money. but i have a lot of respect for rio and he's a fantastic player. this is only in monetary terms.

btw Cafu is another right-sided player and we already have the Nevilles and Brown who can do that. i think we need more cover for Silvestre. Escude would be handy, i hope. And Mexes should replace Blanc. that's my wishlist.

don't get me wrong , Cafu's my favourite Brazilian .. but ..
after spending so damn much on Rio , he's gonna spend another few million on Cafu ?

Cafu is pretty old and i think he is not very expensive. If Utd would get Cafu for 7-9 million pounds then it would be good.

cafu is for free ...

cafu's contract expires at the end of this season. so he will be a free transfer. so no question of millions of pounds........ he'll only cost the signing amount.
