I always pick the Cards, and always relocate them to mexico city, rename them, make em new kick ass uniforms, and pretty much get rid of all of them and turn them into champions

Alright, someone help me. I know nothing about American Football (I know how to play it though) but I picked this game up cheap and it's alright.

I'm about to trade a second round draft pick + 75 rated WR (age 32) for a 88 rated WR (age 23)? Am I getting ripped off? I didn't turn the fantasy draft on so I suppose draft picks mean nothing?

The second round draft pick goes the the NFL Draft in which you draft players from college, it has nothing to do with the Fantasy Draft. About the proposed deal, I would do it, you get rid of an aging receiver while bringing in a younger and better receiver and give up a draft pick. Pretty good deal.

Thanks, but when does the draft start? I'm a week into the regular season and I thought the draft was in the pre-season . I suppose it's in the regular season?

after your first regular season you will have the draft. also which team or what player are you trading for ? i mean 88 rate is very high.

Yeah, just like Danny said, the Draft is always after the season. You've got the combine before where you scout the players you might be interested in drafting and the draft follows that.

I got this today, I love that new running challenge mini game, it's my favorite part of the mini-camp mode.

I started a franchise with Carolina, i'm in week 2 of preseason.

You can only relocate teams if you control them. The option is available at the end of the season with Owner mode.

Yeah, I just finally played that this past weekend with my cousins and its pretty fun. My little 11 year old cousin beat me twice, I was in shock.

Well, I just finally finished my first season. I won the Super Bowl 34-10 against Philly and I proceeded to move the Raiders to LA. I'll have to wait a season for the stadium to be built. Also, since Rod Woodson retired, I went out and traded for Sean Taylor sending Ray Buchanan and a 1st and 2nd round pick to Washington.

Correl Buckhalter was unhappy, so i was going to trade him. But i accidentaly traded Brian Westbrook instead to the Raiders for a 1st round pick.

ESPN 2k5 is the better game, it has better presentation, gameplay, graphics and you can import your own music for the staduim. madden is a great game, but it just does not compare to espn 2k5 alot of areas.

Overall Madden is a bit better than ESPN but by a tiny tiny bit!

I didn't know anything about NFL until 2 years ago when I watched my first superbowl (which I thought was boring). But I downloaded the Madden 2004 demo a year ago anyway and was totally hooked on the game. I've taken more interest in NFL now and watch the Superbowl every year since (still not much of a fan compared to some of you guys) and I'm defenitely going to get Madden 2005 for my PS2 and play that beautiful game to death, love the game!
