Now i see i argument from both sides, i believe that Ea should atleast do something because people that read these forums are not gonna buy the game because they see this thread, this means that EA would be losing sale and profit, so EA shud at least do something

dont worry guys, we can get EA 2 release a patch! all we need 2 do is flood them with emails tellin them 2 release a patch. Please help us by sendin emails 2 EA

Yes i mailed about releasing the patch for numbers and names
ONE THING SURTEN THAT THEY WILL MAKE THE PATCH EVEN IT TAKES TILL CHRISTMAS

i have emailed them too on behalf of all the members of SG with this problem and i gave a coupl to suggestions.

the lack of hardware T&L support is what is causing the problem.

an Intel or AMD processor is capable of handling T&L.

Buying a new card is NOT a solution and like you guys say , its stupid to think of doing so for just one game.

I have 2 machines and one has a Riva Tnt2 card. While all other games run very well, its only Fifa2003 that gives this problem.

So lets hope for the best.

a e-maild them about the pach, and all they say is that we should look on the game´s orientations about the card that support the game, and upload the driver and all this kind of bull sh!t!!!
I don´t know much about computers but about this T&L thing I´ve got to say, IceBlu, that my card is an Intel, and my numbers and names are don´t appear either!!!!
what can I do?? I did upload the driver and I think I Did all I could, I never had problems with any other game before!!

i, too, couldn't see the names or numbers on the computer i had until yesterday. it had a Diamond Viper II Z200 something rather, and I hadn't had any problems with it previously. my new computer has a NVIDIA GeForce2 and the graphics are sweet.

i hate the gfx i see in fifa2003 and i am going to buy GeForce2 but not because fifa doesn`t work ... but because many new games have a low framerate.... .I think ea should do some patch for the numbers and names . they screwed up really bad with this . I don`t know why do u need T&L to generate some stupid 2d fonts ... or maybe it`s the light on the number that changes and i don`t think tnt2 cards support that ..... i dunno . Honestly i don`t think EA would release a patch but who knows i could be wrong ... if they will not realease a patch till Christmas i will buy a new gfx card...if they will release a patch i will wait till the late january

if they still don't display it after you replaced your graphic card and you download the latest driver and still no numbers and names than you will get regrets i ensure you:(
and it will be a waste of money trust me:(
