you've got a few options........... you could use a programme such as image ready, or i think its called dreamweaver, which uses slices and stuff. Alternativley, you could save each image, and put your site together piece by piece by writing it in html :)

dreamweaver is the best, but expensive (;):p) and is extremely hard to learn to use

you could make your layout in a graphics program like photoshop, then use it in Dreamweaver to add your content through cells and tables, etc.. there's a lot more to it than just that though, making a website isn't just a matter of opening up a program clicking a few times and ta da instant website..

Usually you would go and make a basica layout and structure on paper before anything else. Then convert it into graphics and colours using Photoshop and eventually converting it to HTML using tables cells etc.

Or if you don't have Kazaa or don't want to run the risk of getting a nasty little virus from it just download the Dreamweaver 30 day trial from Macromedia's website then find a serial number...

Writing it in html is probably the cheapest way but I can't imagine many people do it cos it takes fookin ages

I think some of the mods on this forum should look at the calendar... Dave and ogsimon's red cards should have expired last Thursday and still haven't been removed.

Have to question the rules - no links were posted to warez sites, both of them mentioned cracks but that's about it, so isn't a red card rather harsh?

You're off best learning and using HTML. If you're converting a Word file into HTML, it's bound to look messed up.

I used to live next to a park with swings and roundabouts when I was younger :crazyboy:

Try Frontpage for real basic sites. Depends how snazzy you want it to be (I love 80's adjectives) (H)
