Making Overlays

Yeah, I'm wanting to get into creating overlays for FIFA
I have looked every and still have nothing solid to go on..

Has anyone got any tutorials or what not?

you have to export overlay big files and work on it but first do you can make textures for the overlays ?

So I can make all my graphics/textures in photoshop, its just after that I don't really know?

I was reading something about having to use a hex editor?

Just make the textures in photoshop and then import them into the overlays from the game and hex the positions to your needs.

Thanks, sounds simple enough, what about pop ups?
e.g added time, half time scores etc

I'm still trying to learn to do them myself
My belief is you make the textures, then use hexing to arrange the text
e.g team names, time

this thread by ANBseth is helpful with the scoreboards themselves

that thread is pretty useful, you have to start from there, find the offsets for text and move/change color. If you want to edit the size of the textures you have to follow this rule: you are editing the file 2.dds, the to edit the textures you have to edit the file 3 inside the overlaybig

So with dds? is that what I'm saving my textures as or?
is there a template? also do you know much about doing
various popups also?

Guys, sorry but this is above my head. I am learning myself. I have not yet devoted enough time to this. If and when I become more advance then I will try to assist.
