Agreed about Young. Although he has been really unlucky with his injuries and those have definitely affected his performances. He started out pretty well for us after joining in 2011. But got injured quite fast from what i remember. And after that was never the same.

He's a good back-up player to have, but should not be a starter.

I think Valencia will have a better season this time.

United is not a hospital ... we had enough with Hargreaves ... If players like Young, Anderson and even Nani can't stay fit this year again ... they should leave.

United have +50 game per season and we need fit players.

Yeah well, it's easy to say we should sell players. I wanted Rooney to fuck off aswell. But now I don't think we should sell anyone until Woodward is in charge as we wouldn't anyone to replace the sold players.

I don't know how i really feel about this.

The guy is only 18 years old and perhaps a loan move to Championship would do him good. I'm sure he would get a lot more playing time for Blackburn rather than us this season. Would help his development a lot more instead of sitting on the bench for us.

Yeah it seems that we have this obsession with not giving young talent any chance in the main team. Which we should do more often i think. Not trusting them probably isn't so good for their confidence.
Ended up losing Pogba because of it like you said.

But look how Cleverley turned out for us after some loan spells. Ok he might not be a real "superstar", but manages to do rather well for us.

Jesus Christ, are you both high now? Pogba was never loaned out. Cleverley, however, has had spells at Leicester, Watford and Wigan. Welbeck was loaned out to PNE and Sunderland. Powell and Henriquez are also both loaned out, do you think we want to get rid of dudes we only signed last year? Januzaj is not ready for United first team this year, at Blackburn, he can get matches and hopefuly bulk up a bit.

Yeah, i think so too. And i never said that Pogba was loaned out. Completely different situation with him.

Loaning Januzaj to the Championship would be great. I prefer our young players to be loaned out to English leagues rather than abroad because of the similarity to the EPL

Pogba played 7 senior match in United shirt when he was 18.
He played 38 senior match in Juve shirt a year later.

What's wrong with giving senior chance to young players? He played really well in pre-season, and we don't have quality wingers atm.

Giggs played 51 games 1991–92, when he was only 18.

My point is there are some special talents that should be given first team chance, if we are interested to keep them.

Maybe he would have played 30+ games if he stayed with us that season. There is no way you can predict how we would have used him. I don't think he was good enough yet to play 30+ games in his last season with us.

Loan is not always beneficial, I don't think Fabio or Macheda improved at all last year ...

Again, I don't say we should keep all young players, just the one that have a better chance to showcase their skills at their current age, I think Januzaj and Lingard did very well in pre-season tour and Community Shield.

Would he stay, he'd have a chance to get minutes in the Carling Cup or the FA Cup. Or, in the last matches, should we not have anything to fight for. Players who he would compete for his prefered position, AMC, are Rooney, Kagawa and Fellaini. He'd be the fourth choice. At Blackburn he'd have to compete with David Dunn and a 19-year old, who had just one appearance last season. What Giggs and Ronaldo did at 18 is irrelevant, it's not the age that matters, it's about development, mental and physical. Ronaldo had 20+ games for Sporting and apps for Portugal U17. Giggs starting games back in 1992 was also different, he got his chance thanks to Lee Sharpe being injury prone as fuck, with not much quality back-up but Giggs.

Januzaj can play on the wings and we all know our wingers suck balls. He still won't play as much. I think loans are very beneficial. I don't think I have seen enough of Fabio to judge if he has improved or not but I heard he played quite well last season.

Macheda on the other hand is a hopeless player. Seriously. I never thought he was a talented player. The goals he scored for us were all fluke except for the first one maybe. He is 22 now and has not improved a single bit.

No way is Januzaj ready to step up to play before Nani, Valencia or even Young this season. I can already see him getting murdered playing against any strong defense. Let him get his beatings at Blackburn, he'll be a lot better next year.

I would prefer januzaj to be loaned to Dutch league....he will learn a lott from them..In Blackburn he wont get more time...more than utd for sure
