Hello, sorry if this is a dumb question but im new.....do i have to pay to get in manazone online league?
is it a game i have to buy, just like cm4 or tcm2003?

is my real address and last name require to join?

I'm not sure, but if USA can pay by mobile, then you'll have to pay around $1 to join (method to cut down on cheaters). If you can't, it's free.

After that, it's free, and you won't have to pay anymore if you don't want to.

It's an online manager game, like Hattrick for example. So you can't buy it in the shops etc. you play it online... far better value for money than a game such as CM4 or TCM.

Real address I think is required, but they won't show your address to anyone else. Also, they can't check that your address is real... but should you win any prizes and you have a fake address... well, you get the idea. Same with surname... they can't check it's real, I've seen some managers with no surnames entered.

yup its free in certain countries u only pay if you want to participate in cups to win prizes etc, but these can be avoided :-;

It's not that much and it's a one-off payment... take a look at the demo for the whole game... it's not much money really, considering how good it is.

I can understand you not wanting to pay, I would be in the same position, but as I'm signed up I know how good it is... you don't.

Just go to the sign-up bit, check to see if you have to enter a mobile number... if so, you'll have to pay. I'm not sure because I dont live in America, and American residents can pay via credit / debit card to enter cups so I can't see if they've paid via SMS or not...

No, you don't have to pay to sign-up. You do have to enter a mobile phone #, but you don't have to pay. And the leagues, and friendly games are free. You only have to pay when you want to join official cups ($1 only) and friendly leagues ($1, unless the creator of the friendly league wishes to pay for everyone). So, don't worry. Go on and sign-up and have fun

No, it's unique... you could try emailing johan or another administrator, but I don't think they will, because they'd have to change everything associated with your username, such as posts on the forums, etc.

you look at a player's atributes and decide where they would be useful on the pitch

Look in the sticky threads at the top of this forum... there's an FAQ there, which has player positions such as shooting for strikers, tackling for defenders, etc. That will be of use in helping you pick your team.

seems like players doesnt have contract? so u can decide to keep a player at his current contract for as long as u want?

They stay for as long as you want them to. The problem is that at the start of each new season, the player's wages are raised so it costs thousands more every season to upkeep. You can either sell your players on the transfer market or you can discard them and get rid of them quick. The discarded players either become regen (re-generated) youth players, which come through the youth system, they become coaches or, they stay in a pool of unwanted players who you can't search for Something should be done about that really...talent going to waste

My best player once got discarded (don't know how ) and when I checked back on him he was worth nearlly 400k, but nobody could have him.

Eventually he just disappeared
