yeah, would have been a dour 1-0 or 1-1 in the last few seasons. It is only Stoke but they held Liverpool at home. Lets get a roll going and overtake the SCUM!!!

Sturridge was monumental in creating the 2nd and 3rd goals, pushing for a spot right now for sure. Jo's been useless this season, Evans and Sturridge have been much more effective, wouldn't mind seeing them get more time. Evans is doubtful for the Boro clash, as is Jo, so here's to seeing Danny tear it up with Robinho again

I definitely don't expect us to get into the top four this season, and if we did I would anticipate we would be knocked out of the Champs League pretty fast. For what it's worth, I think top four this season will be:

1. Chelsea
2. Arsenal
3. United
4. Liverpool

With Arsenal pressing Chelsea all the way and third and fourth being subject to reversal.

I also doubt we will win the UEFA cup, but so long as we qualify for next seasons then we can get the experience under the belt, buy well in the summer, and press for top four the following season (most likely displacing Liverpool as I can't realistically see Benitez lasting another season without premier league contention) although United might do well to worry a bit with the likely exit of Ronaldo and the end of Giggs, Scholes and probably Neville. And with a third or fourth place finish, time for redface to hang up the gloves.

And, all going well, Tevez in a light blue shirt (H)

Theres a lot of hype isnt there? You have the money and can splash the cash and wave it around in everyones faces creating this hype but really its no more than that at the moment. All this talk of challanging for CL and winning the Eufa cup? I think there are more teams you have to watch out for than just "the top 4" too. not going to mention any names (see username: reference one man who for love nor money cant get in the england squad... dont ask me why) but they are going about there business building quality squads without creating rediculous hype - you could say the proper way. I'm all for more people challanging and trying to break the stupid monopoly of the top 4, and good luck to you, but all things concidered i think your getting a bit ahead of yourselfs so far.

Infact I'd say there are even more teams ahead of you now, and several years ahead of you than just the top 4.

new money, same City. I hope Dunne gets sold in January. ****in Mark Hughes, we were SO CLOSE to getting rid of this overrated piece of Irish dung, but your stupid ass had to convince him to stay. ****.

I'll ask again, since I've seen his name on the starting lineups a few times, how's Ben-Haim doing?

And what's the deal with Johnson and Ireland, talent-wise? Haven't seen them play yet.

you have to wait at least until january to see the money bit take affect. You only got your new owners on the last day of the transfer window and they only had time to buy one player. You're still very much the same as last season.

Man, that Robinho is still sore that he left us? Geez, shut your pie hole and play. Enjoy becoming the best player in the world with Man City, since there was zero possibility of doing it with us!(Y)
