and man utd was the second, liverpool was third ^^.

You guys played well but didn't scored many goals enough and seemed a bit mistake. bellamy was **** at this match. and second half looked a bit under pressure and dangerous

Apparenty we after Sylvinho and frankly we shld get him he'd be better than bridge even at his age

11.54: The agent of former Arsenal left-back Sylvinho has confirmed that they are in talks with Manchester City about a possible switch.

"There was contact with Manchester City a while ago and that has been renewed recently," his agent told skysports.com.

"Sylvinho is a free agent and he is in no rush to sign anywhere as he can join a club outside the transfer window.

"Manchester City is obviously an interesting option with the talent there and Mark Hughes as manager.

"We are waiting for a decision from the directors of Manchester City and Sylvinho also has a decision to make."


EDIT: Some places have said Sylvinho has already signed with Man City so also Lescott in man city for his medical.

Sylvinho's in on a 1-year deal, Lescott deal agreed for £24M. The Sylvinho signing sucks because I hoped that Lescott would be played as a left-back and Bridge would be on the bench. Ugh, didn't even want Lescott to be honest, makes the defensive situation way too crowded.

But you're right. I'd prefer:

Zabaleta-Toure-Kompany-Lescott

but Hughes =

Richards-Toure-Lescott-Bridge

Nevermind. 2-0, another cleansheet. Lescott makes his debut, Tevez scores his 1st for the club :D

In other news, Dunne is off to Villa it seems. As much as I never really liked the guy, he gave us 9 years of service and I wish him the best of luck at Villa Park.
