You mean his salary? No one will pay him like United is paying him but he will have to agree to get a pay cut if LvG forces him out. Lots of MLS teams will pay him good money.

I think Qatar or US clubs will pay his salary, or find a way to make it work. His transfer fee, on the other hand, is far too much for any of those clubs.

That was one of the best games we have played in a while, especially against a very good Everton defense which includes Stones, Jagielka and Coleman. It took a 3-0 demolition from Arsenal for van Gaal to decide to change the defense and it worked to good effect. Smalling was fantastic. He is much better and more consistent than last season. He is playing at the same level as Ferdinand did imo. He is a leader in defense. I am impressed with him. Jones was also solid. Rojo was not bad at left back and that cross for Herrera was sublime. I think we should stick with that defense for now. It is our best defense. Blind can also play at left back but Rojo has more pace than him and is more mobile.

Up front, Rooney had probably his best game in the EPL this season. He looked sharper, almost scored a second goal and set up Martial for a goal but Everton defense dealt with it. I prefer Martial as striker but he did well as left winger also. He did better than Depay has done in the EPL so far so I think he or Young should play on the left wing. Depay needs a break maybe.

I am not sure why Jesse Lindgard was brought on. He is 22 and is nothing special. He is not United quality and never will but I think he'll do well in the EPL. He should be sold to a mid table EPL team.

We faced Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, Spurs thus far, as well as, tricky away games at Swansea and Southampton ...

City game is really important for us in title chase ...

No sorry, you're right, if a 29 year old super star starts a season badly they should immediately step down from all competitive football and run away to the MLS or Qatar. A precedent must be set!

Did he play a good game? He was played through on goal and he scored. He's a striker in a top world league, he's supposed to score those. Aside from that, are you really telling me that he was better than he's been? Doubt it.
