It was ANDERSON who scored, that was a brilliant freekick. Hopefully now the monkey is off his back, he'll get more now.

Wes has just gone off injured - hope it's just precautionary.

Valencia has done okay, looks like a good old fashioned winger, something we've not had on the right for a while.

I've just realised I'm watching the match on delay (on my DVDs hard drive) so sorry Nady, I think you saw Valencia's goal before I did.

Anyway it's 2-0 in the match so far, and I'm in the 44th minute.

Valencia played great. Very pacey and direct. I've noticed lately that Nani has been working on his decision making. He doesn't fancy around as before. The second half wasn't good, but we proved that we are still a tough nut to crack. Cathcart played great aswell.

EDIT: Oh yeah and how can I forget to mention Ando's goal?! What a freekick!

That was a fun game today. I was shocked to see Boca play that well. Probably their worst team in over 10-11 years. 12th place finish (4 pts above relegation zone), and got immediately KOed in the Lib Cup by a small Uruguayan team. Was very surprised.

lol. I was watching the game with an american friend of mine. He basically has the concept that the EPL is just like the NHL/NBA/MLB equivalent (where they think the worst team in each league would beat any team on earth. So he was shocked at the game (and other results like Beijing beating Hull or A. Villa losing to some other team). I had to explain to him that soccer isnt really the same (anyone can really beat anyone), which is why IMO it's the best game on earth

It looks a lot better in those photos, still think it'd be better if the trim was red though.

Bad news, the media is reporting Owen Hargreaves will be delayed from coming back till Xmas - I wonder if we should look at getting a holding midfielder in.

Nani's decision making is much better, he's great at putting balls into the danger areas.
