EDIT: Btw, I'd love to hear from those of yuo who used to say that Chelsea were a one-dimensional 'ball-to-drogba' team. TWICE Owen made a good run and Carrick decided to dally on the ball and wait for Rooney to get open. 'Twas all about Rooney.

Financial bloopers are bound to occur. But I don't think the situation is that bad. It can't be. We have a strong base for revenue and enough funds, so paying the loan back wont be much of a problem.
The concern is about the transfer budgets ( that's all most of us care about these days). It's just impossible to spend in such a market where the prices are inflated like a birthday balloon. It just does not make sense you splash cash. If talent is there I don't think we will think twice before breaking the bank, but otherwise its just no use.

As for the Carling cup, we also have the 2nd leg at old Trafford with an away goal to our advantage. Depending on how much SAF wants this we will still go through.
That Diouf looks pretty good, I hope he gets more of a chance to play. He should of played the full match last night give him a carling cup run in.
