^^^^^ Hahahahaha

Will you guys please stop crying like little b*tches, its pathetic.

Admit you were beated by a very superior team, who played kids checkers with you at old trafford.

Give credit where it is do, and admit Bayern dominated you and went through easily.

It could have been 10-3 aggregate in favor of Bayern really:blush:

No european club. I watch futbol from an unbiased point of view and just give my perspective, thats all...

But if you must know my team is Colo Colo

Unbiased? You having a laugh? LOL. From your comments I thought you were a Liverpool fan. Or at least a United hater.

True but I can see where his post is coming from. It seems that every time a big side loses, it's always the case that the Team Thread of that side suddenly becomes full of posts mocking the supporters of that side and childishly rubbing it in. It's annoying and defies the purpose of the team thread.
Take the Real Madrid Team Thread. It became a joke for this reason. Every single time they lose, the thread is spammed with Barcelona supporters who post more in there than the Real Madrid supporters. It's really unnecessary..

And that comment by Fergurson after that match :nape:... I though Wenger was a bad loser.

Unfortunately, I agree. The "typical Germans" comment was somewhat unnecessary and made him look like a bad loser. My only justification for his comment is that it's a management move to take the pressure off Raphael for being sent off.

constantly posting rubbish about Real Madrid in the Real Madrid thread is pretty shameful ... I wish I could do something about it, but I can't -- it's a free world, er, free forum ...

Deisler's post was not a "rubbing it in" post ... his response to the bilge that Ferguson spewed was absolutely spot on ... calling someone out on being hypocritical is more in the realm of a factual response, than an opinion ...

but still, I empathize ... the Man Yoo thread should be a haven for Man Yoo supporters, especially to get away from all the opportunists who will try to kick you when you are down ...

I watched to Wenger's post-match interview after the Barcelona match (2nd leg) on Sky Sports last night, and he was extremely gracious in defeat ... Ferguson's post-match comments, as quoted above, seem to be quite hypocritical (IMO, as per usual) ... but I'd like to watch the full interview where that quote is from before I could comment further ...

I agree that these annoying, stupid, childish posts are ruining these forums. But I don't see much that moderators can do... Maybe ban people who constantly spam other threads? Yellow cards maybe? Not sure if its gonna be a solution. Its not the first time that this issue has been brought up. I think mods should consider doing something about it now.

Anyway, on topic: Anyone has any info on Rooney's ankle? I think we should rest him for a few games. He's probably aggravated his ankle sprain. I hope he hasn't injured his ligaments or something.

Btw, Fletcher has also said that the ref was pressured by Bayern players on the yellow card on Rafael. "He decided he wasn't going to give it, then he was pressured into it." Maybe there was some truth into it but Fergie's "typical Germans" comment was ridiculous. He always throw stuffs like that when he's angry.

EDIT: Fergie about Rooney: "He got a knock which was similar to last week," said the United boss. "It is a burst blood vessel below the ankle. He won't be out for too long."

We were talking about people like "FernandoCatala" who is constantly posting bull**** in this thread since we lost that game. We weren't responding to Deisler's pic. In fact, nothing at all insulting with that pic. I actually agree that this comment from Fergie was ridiculous.

It's one of the best aspects of the SG forums. Few message boards allow as much free speech as we do; I haven't seen a moderator go on a power trip or carry out a grudge here in years. That **** happens everywhere else. We also generally allow "flaming" under the free speech banner; most sites will just say "oh you were trying to stir some ****, so posts deleted", not here. It's great.

not "opportunists", but "opportunists who will try to kick you when you are down" ... you forgot the whole last part ... just "opportunists" would be too equivocal, because it would work on many levels; and I was not intending to be sarcastic or jocular ...

"It is hard to digest something like that,'' Ferguson said. "It was a top performance. In one way you could say we have thrown it away; in another you could argue we were very unlucky.''

Or in a more accurate/respectful way, you could say you were beaten. Between these comments and the "typical Germans" jab, I think SAF has shown himself to be the sore loser that he is.

TBH, to see some rivals fans or fans of opposing teams come here and "stir things up" with some arguments makes the forum more interesting. For eg sometimes Rony (or you yourself sometimes) comes here and posts stuffs here just to make fun and goes. But TOO MUCH of it becomes annoying. Those who come here with NO argument at all and persistently write bull**** in threads (as in the Real Madrid thread) are those who are ruining the forums. Look at what happened to the RM forums. It doesn't happen often here thankfully...

Yes thats true. I don't want to see SG become like that. Too strict moderation ruins forums as well.

Damn!!!! I was rooting for a memorable rematch of last year.

Well I agree that after watching the first half of this match the 2 legs were alot more even than I imagined, congrats to you guys for 40 minutes of great futbol. Although credit to Bayern who have an unbelievable fighting spirit, either of you would have made great semi-finalist.

I sort of sympathize with Fergie, not to excuse his comments, but a defeat like this is hard to take. Especially considering they should have been in total control after the 3-0. Some of those comments might have been a little frustration on his own players.

I think its time to get a class CM who can control the tempo of the game and have the experience to see you through a 3-0 by controlling the ball and holding it when needed. I still can't believe Fergie didn't make Sneijder part of the Cristiano sale, he cost inter 15m and look his impact on their team.

Bad news on Rooney, I really admire his fighting spirit. Hope he is well and can guide you guys into a perfect 5 out of 5 run. With a little luck chelsea will drop a game and you can end up with the title.

I respect you guys and hope you have a great end to a season of hard work. Hope to see you next year. Heads up Mates(Y)

Learn to lose, ShiftyPowers its right, United played an awesome first half in the second leg, but speculate all the match with the 0-1 in münchen and played a poor second one tonight...

I am not gonna congratulate a team which needed an offside goal to get to the quarters and lost both their second legs en route to the semis. Best of luck to them but the fact of that matter is that they are not a team to be feared. Lyon have a fantastic chance of gettin to the final IMO.

You guys did a fantastic job in the first half. Respect. I almost ****ted my pants. :) But i guess Fergie made a mistake, like he did already in the second half of the first leg. He should´ve known: Its much much easier to attack our defense than to defend against our offense. Anyway, you guys can not play the finals every year. :)
