But our finishing today was terrible. Chicharito was gifted a second goal on 87 minutes and he somehow managed to screw it up. Rooney was gifted one as well around 90 minutes if I recall and he flubbed it.
I didn't watch the game but it does sound a disappointing overall performance from what I have read. Defense was shaky and we missed a lot of easy chances. But good result though. I'd rather win 2-0 against 9 men-Wigan than lose 3-0 to Sunderland
If he can overcome his nervousness, he can be a great player. The big barrier for him is his mental issues.cfdemarco;2956365 said:I was really impressed by Obertan though, he works hard and is capable of some explosive movements. I look forward to him hopefully getting more playing time and developing even further.

He still makes the occasional guffaw here and there defensively, but he's quick, surprisingly physical for being so tiny, has tons of energy, and he is good at getting forward and can supply some great crosses into the box. I'm starting to be convinced that he is going to be a good long-term player at RB for us.
I told you he's gonna flourish He just needed time. He's improved a LOT. Remember the silly mistakes that he used to make? The red cards that he foolishly received and penalties he's conceded. He'll become better than Evra IMO and should get the #2 shirt once G. Nev retires.
As I told you before, he has the potential to become much better than Glen Johnson. He's still 21 isn't he.
