Just saw that. I know nothing about him. Can't seem to find anything on Wikipedia either. Thats a short description of him from the Guardian:



this certainly means no more striker for us this season. I think we're pretty much covered up front. I hope now that the capture of Bebe doesn't mean that we won't go for Ozil.

EDIT: there's no page on him on Wikipedia... And can't find him on youtube. Apparently Fergie bought him on Quieroz's recommendation... I'm not sure if its a wise move. Ferguson hasn't even seen him play. I hope it wasn't just a rushed up signing. Lets wait and see now.

In other news, Chicharito scores again for Mexico! This time against spain. I haven't seen the goal clearly but apparently its from a defensive mistake.

If Fergie signed Bebe to play him as an attacking mid, then it would make a lot of sense. I'm sure he realizes that we need an attacking mid and the price we paid is congruent with the team's financial situation

this transfer does seem a little suspicious, but i fully trust SAF

i was reading the manchester united forums on manutd.com and i gotta say im complete disgusted... hating a player "bebe" before he has put on the red shirt just because SAF didnt sign ozil, i can truly say i am an ozil fan and i have been wanting united to sign him for a while, but to start slating a poor kid just cause they didnt get what they wanted is complete and utter childish i for one im happy whenever united bring in a young talent,and for SAF to spend 7.5 mil for a unknown player he must be something special....

i really hope he proves all his critics wrong, his 'rags to riches story' makes it even more remarkable in that he had to earn his contract

What do you expect for 7 millions anyways? Obviously you can't get a worldclass winger at that price, can you?

This clip shows that he's got good pace and power. He can become a good player with proper coaching. He's young and will improve.

Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be a Djemba-Djemba, Dong Fang Zhou, Manucho or Liam Miller(at least he was free).

I'm hoping the game is on ESPN on Monday. According to their TV schedule, they are running a Premiership game Monday afternoon, and as far as I know the United game is the only one being played on Monday. So hopefully it's that and not a rerun of a weekend game.

Kind of a slap in the face to him to take the team photo without him in it. But I guess you can't hold things like that up for one lad.

Either way, it's about right, as I don't expect him to feature for us at all. The poor guy might as well just retire.

No, the 7 shouldn't go to a striker, it needs to go to a midfielder.

Owen shouldn't be wearing it for that matter, his name doesn't belong on the list of 7's that came before him at United. It should've been shelved after Ronaldo left.

I was hoping that Gourcuff, Elia or Ozil would be the next 7, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

From the current squad, I really don't know who I would give it to. It needs to be a player that is going to be at United for a long time, be an emotional leader, and be someone the team can rally around when their backs are against the wall.
