Yea, he did that because he just had received a death threat before the game, and then wanted to be with his family.

Oh but you must not value your mortality like Mourinho and think you are invincible.
Calm down man. Just becuz I'm talking some reality about ur manager means I'm feeling invicible?

If i point a gun at you, would you be serious or laugh at a joke on my shirt? Yes thats right.
What is it with people on this board? Do you not recognize and detect a joke/sarcasm in a person's post? Does everything a person say get taken so seriously unless they use some monkey smilie or something?

What kind of an ape would laugh at a joke on a person's shirt when a gun is being pointed at them? Do you take me for some kind of fool? Damn dont get your victoria secrets up in a bunch so much sheesh...

Yes that's what Mourihno probably felt.

F*ck Mourinho, he's got his taste of success, now he needs to feel the taste of DEFEAT.

Then we will see how good a manager he is, how he handles defeat. (not just one game, but like losing in the CL semis/finals or blowing the EPL)

If Mourinho was to somehow fuck up the Premiership and not win it this season, being in the position they're currently in, I think he would literally go insane.(H)

They were out of sorts against Blackburn sure, but they still won. THats what you guys USED to do, and what Arsenal did last season (well, ok, they drew alot). They were playing away, in the North, and still came away with 3 points, which is more than Arsenal could do at Bolton, and more than you lot managed at Portsmouth. It may well happen, but I seriously doubt Chelsea will lose so much that you guys can get the title. They have a strong defence that will cover for any lack of attacking options, so whilst they might lose some fluency in that area, they will certainly be difficult to score AGAINST.

Wonder if Bill Gates is interested in a football team, he wears blue alot...

I agree, but if it wasn't for an excellent save from Cech they would've dropped two points yesterday. Chelsea's last six or seven games of the season are much more difficult than Manchester United and Arsenal's. Their last six games:

Mancester United ( A )
Arsenal ( H )
Fulham ( H )
Bolton Wanderers( A )
Charlton Athletic ( H )
Newcastle United ( A )

Those are all tricky games for them, three London derbies and tough games against Manchester United and Bolton, they could slip up. Adding the pressures of the Champion's League and FA Cup, their could be some real banana skin games for them in the title run in. If they manage to survive, as it seems will happen at this point well kudos to them, but if they were to slip up which is also possible, then Manchester United would have to win all their remaning games for the season. We can do that.(H)

Hanging on by a thread but.......:p

You forget manutd4eva but, we could win the title before we even play any one of those games ;)

If you drop 5 points, and we beat every team we play until the Manchester United game

Chelsea v Man City
Everton v Chelsea
Norwich v Chelsea
Chelsea v Crystal Palace
Southampton v Chelsea
Chelsea v Birmingham

Other than Everton, I think those other games look like wins to me ;)

Oh and if you drop 2 points, and we play you at Old Trafford and win, we win the title at the Theatre of Dreams ... What a dream.

And then the Champions return home to play Arsenal :rockman:

Still if I were him, I'd celebrate like a madman. A CL is really a phenomenal achievement, and should be celebrated. Even if he was gonna be killed by a madman in the stadium, which situation is better? Dying a sulking brat? Or dying a happy man?

Fuck it, it's all filled with ifs, but the reality is you should go on to win the title, barring some dramatic collapse at the Bridge. I won't give up until it's mathematically impossible, though.:amika:

Crashing the f*ck out of CL against Barca is one of the keys to slipping the EPL.

If there is one team that could give Chelsea a hiding , it would be Barcalona , I hope they lose big , then things may start to change , even if they slip Arsenal are only 2 points behind us , so we can't **** up at all.

Hmm, don't count your chickens on that first game, we came away from Arse with a point, and did the same to Newcastle (in both cases without our most prolific striker, AND we played better football than Arsenal), and United haven't beaten us in a few years now, PLUS we are the only team to have beaten Chelsea this season... we seem to find something extra against the bigger teams, could be the same this weekend. If Chelsea don't field an attacking side (cos of injuries or whatever) then I am putting money on a draw. No doubt our defence will go AWOL for 5 minutes during the game and someone (anyone?) from Chelsea will score, but I also expect SWP to play a blinder after being somewhat subdued last time out. Will be interesting to see him up against Bridge...

I aslo think Brimingham will be tougher than you expect, they made some OK signings in the transfer window. Soton, Palace and Norwich should be walkovers provided complacency doesn't get in the way.

Smithy Ruled Out For Another Fortnight!!!

Sir Alex Ferguson will be without Alan Smith for another fortnight, after attempts to bring the striker back from an ankle injury led to a setback.

The United boss was, however, boosted by the news that Ruud van Nistelrooy, who has been out for an Achilles injury, has started sprint work in training.

"We had an update on Ruud yesterday," Fergie told ManUtd.com. "He started a sprinting programme now, which is good news. Hopefully he will get through that with no pain and then he can get onto the football part.

"Alan Smith has had a little setback," added Sir Alex. "I think we rushed him back too quickly. It is one of these unfortunate things. I am sure he will be ready within two weeks."

Smith has been out for three weeks, but will now be looking to return possibly for United's FA Cup fifth round tie with Everton on 19 February.

Darren Fletcher, suffering from a hamstring strain, also misses out on Saturday's home game with Birmingham, as does Mikael Silvestre, who starts a three-match ban for his midweek red card at Highbury.
