And Arse get their usual easy draw. :(

FA Cup 5th round draw:
Bolton v Derby or Fulham
West Brom or Spurs v Forest
Everton v Man Utd
Charlton v Leicester
Burnley v Blackburn
Southampton v Brentford or Hartlepool
Newcastle v Chelsea
Arsenal v West Ham or Sheffield Utd
They may give Arse a tough game. (H)

Rooney, scores another 2 superb goals again, and into Everton's net.

PS. why Everton is called "Toffee"?

We still have Kleberson and Miller to get rid of before we bring in anyone new , at least Djembas gone though and someone actually paid money for him.

yeah right! i could have afforded him at the price villa payed,. the room is now there but not the cash. rooney busted our bank, and we aint gonna make up the cash to pay out for a new player unless we sell one of our starters.

Help?

our bank is bigger than any other team's bank in the world, it's the season spending plan that has been used, but don't worry it doesn't mean that no new faces will be seen next season.

i have 3 letters for you, P L C. that means in order for Man U to keep its value, at the end of the year their balance sheet has to be in the positive. if they dont do that their share price will go down and that will mean that any transfer they bring in will end up costing them more money, unless of course they win the CL which will bring it back into the positive most likely.

the reason Man U is the richest club in the world isnt because of the amount of money they have in the bank. all their worth is tied up in their assets, namely their stadium and squad. they maybe worth 600 million, that does not equate to having that cash in the bank.

I know what it equates too. But we spent about 25 million pounds on Rooney and a couple on Heinze, that's it. Our profits last year exceeded 150 million pounds when we only won the FA Cup, didn't make it anywhere in League Cup, had fewer attendance than this season and got knocked out in the second stage of CL, plus we got about 10-15 million cash from Beckham. This year we are already certainly having a much better year and the club can find extra 50 million by the end of the season for sure. It's a matter of saving more for future, rather than to just stay in positive. United can spent 100 million right now on someone and still make profit by the end of the season. I heard the club say "sell, before buy" every year, but then we went out still to get more players. It happened with Veron, Ricardo and others. Money are there, it's just a matter of saving it for what you call a rainy day.

We can forget about Solari.

Solari pens new deal

Santiago Solari has scuppered Manchester United's hopes of landing him in the summer by signing a new deal with Real Madrid.

The Argentine winger had been pinpointed by Red Devils chief Sir Alex Ferguson as a possible summer recruit and the wily Scot had been monitoring Solari's situation at El Santiago Bernabeu with interest.

It would appear that Real were aware of the interest in their gifted winger, as they handed him a new deal on Monday.

Despite being a bit-part player at Real and having the option of moving on a Bosman in the summer, Solari has pledged his future to the Spanish giants by signing a four-year contract.

The former Newell's Old Boys ace claimed the role of Real president Florentino Perez was a key factor in him extending his stay in the Spanish capital.

"The intention and the attitude of the president was fundamental in me extending for four more years," Solari told Real's website.

"My objective is to maintain my level and work hard to keep the club at the highest level and repay the fans for the affection they show me."
