Maybe... Maldini is a classy and very agressive player... so is Ashley Cole... but remember what Ronaldo did to him, in the last fixture between Arsenal and Man Utd... luckily, Arsenal escape from a penalty decision against them... they still lost, though...

But my point is, that if C. Ronaldo is inspired for the game, then i can see Maldini struggling to catch up with him... C. Ronaldo may not be the most consistent player, but when inspired, he can outclass the best defenders....
