Solskjaer had a injury setback(can't explain the injury in english) but it will take at least 2 weeks to heel so he is out of training again!
this can delay his return that was planned to be in october(if it's going to be a return)

The 32-year-old Norwegian last played for United in the FA Cup Final win
against Millwall in May 2004.

Swedish knee specialist Lars Petersson said: "He has picked up a tear inside
his knee. It is a very recent injury."

Petersson operated on Solskjaer last year, and added: "I thought he might be
back in October but it is impossible to set a date now."

And asked whether he was totally confident Solskjaer will come back at all
at the top-level, Petersson added: "No. I am never 100% sure in these
cases."

Oh no...a tear inside his knee...WTF...
But we are always waiting for your return, 20LEGEND!

Youthful Influence For United In Europe

United have registered 33 players in their squad for this season's Champions League, with an impressively low average age of just 23.

Such has the emphasis been on reinvigorating United's team with young players - be it through the emergence from the youth team of Fletcher, O'Shea, Brown, Bardsley, or signings like Rooney, Ronaldo, Rossi, Pique - that United now have one of the youngest squads in Europe.

There is still the vital experience of Keane, Neville, van der Sar, Scholes and Giggs, and players approaching their peak, like van Nistelrooy, Ferdinand and Heinze.

But there is an exciting young edge to Ferguson's squad. Rooney, Ronaldo and Fletcher are at the forefront of the United manager's thinking, but there is another wave of players seeking first-team experience.

Three 18-year-olds Giuseppe Rossi, Gerard Pique, Lee Martin and the youngest of United's players in the squad this season, 17-year-old defender Jonny Evans, are further evidence of a new guard emerging under Sir Alex's guidance.

Here, ManUtd.com takes a look at five young players to be included in the Reds' European squad this season...

Giuseppe Rossi - The most high-profile of United's teenagers, bar Wayne Rooney. Rossi joined from Parma in summer 2004 and has made his mark at Reserve level with some fine goals. He's made three appearances so far for the Reds, and his continual inclusion in the first-team squad suggests there is plenty more to come.

Gerard Pique - The 18-year-old centre-back, signed from Barcelona last year, is similar in style to Rio Ferdinand; tall, comfortable on the ball and an intelligent reader of the game. Another player likely to add to his three appearances for United.

Lee Martin - A midfielder signed from Wimbledon as a 16-year-old, Martin has impressed at Reserve level with his ceaseless running and energy bursting into the opposition box. Yet to debut for the Reds, but a first appearance cannot be far away.

Jonny Evans - Belfast-born Jonny is a tall and strong centre-back. He was commanding at the back for United's U18s last year. Being given a squad number is a big step up for Jonny, who only made his debut for the Reserves last season. He is likely to gain experience by travelling with the first-team rather than breaking into the team this year.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake - The 19-year-old striker is a clinical finisher and he struck up a potent partnership with Rossi in the Reserves last season before a broken leg ended his season prematurely. Came on as a sub against Crewe in the Carling Cup last year, his only first-team experience to date.

Rooney set for world domination - Ronaldo

Brazil striker Ronaldo has singled out England counterpart Wayne Rooney to be the star of next year's World Cup in Germany.

The Real Madrid forward won the golden boot during his country's record-breaking sixth success in the Far East in 2002 but he has seen enough of Manchester United's Rooney to be wary of what the teenager can do.

Victories over Wales and Northern Ireland over the next five days would take England to the brink of qualification for the finals, where Ronaldo expects the 19-year-old to shine.

'In Wayne Rooney England have a player who can be one of the stars of the World Cup in Germany,' Ronaldo told The Sun.

'He is a special talent, he's extremely strong and he has the quality to be England's main player.

'Rooney also makes scoring wonderful goals look easy. I see no reason why he will not have a great tournament.'

best wish to rooney. hope he shines world cup and do well for us :)

Ruud has begun taking more freekicks this season. He really wants to compete with Henry. :p

I recall Ruud has took one freekick last season and thats all...but he seems to be our freekick taker now...

Giggs' transfer worry

Ryan Giggs admits he is concerned why some players are choosing to join Chelsea ahead of Manchester United.

The Premiership champions' awesome spending power has seen a string of leading names flock to Stamford Bridge during the past two years.

Roman Abramovich's millions have bankrolled the signings and left United in the unfamiliar role of paupers in comparison.

Chelsea's continued quest to attract the best players has occasionally been at the expense of The Red Devils, with the prime example being Arjen Robben.

The Holland international was courted by United and appeared poised to move to Old Trafford from PSV Eindhoven in 2004.

But Robben eventually plumped for a switch to Chelsea and Giggs is worried that it could set a trend which will damage United's future prospects for recruiting fresh faces.

"When Robben signed for Chelsea I thought 'Why is he signing for them and not for us?'," queried Giggs.

"As with [Damien] Duff before him, it worried me he'd be choosing Chelsea in preference to us.

"Robben had been to Manchester and had a look round before making his mind up.

"He was shown around Carrington, as good a training ground as you'll find. I'm told the place Chelsea were using at the time was poor by comparison so it can't have been the facilities that persuaded him.

"It must have been the money. United didn't have the resources Roman Abramovich was providing."

good said giggs, good said :D

We may regard this as a pro because Heinze will miss a game and get more rest.

and for the Giggs' transfer worry, I think we dont have to and cannot worry about that if it is to happen...coz Chelsea do have abundant transfer budget and have already bought so many players. They cant get all the good players in the world and not every good player would like to join them.

Fergie explains formation

Sir Alex Ferguson has conceded that a change of formation was needed to ensure Manchester United's progression.

The Old Trafford chief has elected to use a 4-3-3 formation this term - choosing to drop the 4-5-1 line-up he often employed last season, particularly in Europe.

Ruud van Nistelrooy was often used as a lone front man, supported by Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs in wide positions.

However, after reflecting on a campaign without silverware, Ferguson has now decided to use exciting starlets Cristiano Ronaldo and Rooney alongside van Nistelrooy in a three-pronged strikeforce.

"The trouble with 4-5-1 is that it doesn't give you enough points of attack and if Rooney and Ronaldo come deep to defend or cover, your lone striker can get isolated," Ferguson told Champions magazine.

"We used to play 4-4-2, with one player just behind the striker, because it gives you more options, more threats, but 4-3-3 makes the best use of the players we have.

"It keeps Ronaldo and Rooney forward, where they do most damage, and gives us more points on the pitch from which to attack.

"Manchester United just can't play defensively.

''The fans would not stand for it. It's just not United. This club has a kamikaze streak, which in a funny way, I rather like.''

so far i feel the formation is all right but the problem is come from midfield
